Scent of Seoul Villa Erbatium

My third fragrance from the house of Villa Erbatium. Somehow fascinated by Resort Spa and Rain Forest, I couldn't seriously resist ordering Scent of Seoul as a blind buy. I know, reason and sense sometimes go missing.

First of all: if you're looking for some kind of olfactory accompaniment for your narcissistic side and want to show off a bit, you'll quickly stretch your face in disappointment.
You have to give it to the friends from South Korea... they can create sublime scents. But now to the main course:

Top note: probably the "loudest" part. A slightly herbaceous-fresh-sour combination. At first, it seems rather unusual, as the bay leaf adds a kind of angular clumsiness. I'm not really a fan of bay leaf, but what can you do. Top notes don't last forever. As diffuse as the beginning is, the...

Heart note: here everything suddenly turns 180°. From the herbaceous false cypress emerges a delicate floral note, without falling into clichéd patterns of women's perfumes, as a slightly sweet, predominantly woody dryness joins in. Difficult to describe, it has a bit of a tobacco vibe, light wood without any mustiness, and the white flowers, probably bamboo. Base: more or less, the floral meadow fades after 5 hours, leaving a pleasant woodiness, becoming a bit more herbaceous. However, not as mossy as in Rain Forest.

Sillage: moderate might be the right word. You can definitely perceive the scent when embracing, but at arm's length, it's already gone.

I don't see this scent for drinking in Mallorca. It's more for the distinguished character who can formulate complete sentences without resorting to impertinent childishness.
Rather, it actually creates a very successful balance of masculine and feminine accents. A trait that fascinated me about my Korean ex-girlfriend. Conclusion: unisex. Absolutely.

The bottle does its job well, and the cap weighs about 300 times that of the glass bottle, so it was probably hand-carved from plutonium. I'm not sure what sense that could make.

My daughter (6) was immediately in her magpie mode and wanted to grab the bottle ("Magic perfume has to go in there so I can spray myself invisible."). I would like that too.
