An exceptional combination of metalic and powdery
Imperial is a transcendent powdery work with almond as the protagonist.
Staring with tart sour cherries, and then linden blossom and mimosa illuminate with a golden sheen reminiscent of the sunshine, meanwhile the metallic note balances out the powdery facet, refraining from leaning toward the cosmetics direction. It gets crisper and colder after dry-down with the rise of clean soapy musk. However, there's some gentle animalic touch (vintage musky) surfacing by the end of the course, which is totally to my surprise, and indeed makes the fragrance even more unique.
Normally I'm not a big fan of powdery scents (at all), while I was drawn to Imperial on the blotter right away without knowing the notes. After wearing it, I'm getting to appreciate the uniqueness of this powdery scent even more.
From bright --> metalic --> clean (soapy) -->musky
Imperial is a excellent unisex powdery fragrance for all.
