This perfume "rocks" me!
"On the Rocks" is my second EdP from Wolkenseifen. Again, I first bought the natural deodorant cream with the same fragrance and I was always fascinated by this refreshing scent. At some point, I "just had to" buy the corresponding EdP.
I would most likely describe it as refreshingly fresh ;-)
The feeling right after a refreshing rainfall or after a shower. But it's also a bit banal. It starts citrusy-floral, then woody-musky, that's it. Nevertheless, I like the fragrance, even more than some complex, expensive non-perfumes that are not wearable everywhere.
On the Rocks is praised here as unisex... True, anyone can wear it, but I tend to think it's more masculine, as it doesn't smell as floral as most women's perfumes from this brand. It's rather dry-tart, and not too sweet.
For me, it is one of the most universal perfumes that I own or know.
You don't have to think twice. You can wear it in every season and at any time, for every occasion. And I would say that it is also one of the most inoffensive fragrances compared to other fragrances like Fahrenheit or Sauvage, which don't go down well everywhere.
I don't have any other perfume that smells similar, but "On the Rocks" is closest to Chanel Allure Homme, but is nowhere near as complex as Allure; it's massively cheaper though ;-)
