Am I now an Emir???
I am wearing an Emir. Gold-yellow in the bottle and a really interesting character! At first, it smells a bit soapy, green, clean. As if it couldn't cloud a drop of water. But I have already learned from Guerlain that some of these treasures need time.
And that's exactly how my Emir behaves! Only after half an hour does it reveal itself, and then, wow! Suddenly, I find myself in the middle of an oriental spice market and don't even know where to start sniffing. There’s nutmeg and cumin, cardamom, coriander, saffron, cinnamon, vanilla, allspice, cloves, nutmeg flowers, honey, bay leaves, ground, ready-mixed spices like various masalas and curries, ground chili - simply overwhelming, these warm, spicy scents. I just feel so good right in the middle of it all and can hardly get enough.
Emir is a vintage and quite an "old" fragrance, but it has absolutely nothing dusty about it. Many of today’s niche fragrances try to achieve effects like those that Emir offers.
The bottle was originally sealed when I received it. However, this is the Locion, which in our language is the EdC, the weakest concentration. Even if Emir may have lost some strength over the years, it still shows its wonderful, spicy side. What dreamy power must the EdT or PdT, and especially the Extrait, have developed!
Dana was once a very well-known and popular brand. Dana fragrances were available all over the world and were of very good quality. Just think of Tabu, 20 Carat, Platine, the wonderful Canoe, etc. Today, unfortunately, Dana is just a brand that is far behind, which is very, very sad. Because I gladly accept this kind of "mainstream" that Dana once presented.
I am already on the lookout for the Extrait!

Addendum: I found it! The Extrait with about 50ml, still sealed, is MINE!
