With this fragrance, my journey began ^^
It was December 19, 2018, when I briefly went down to the city during a 2-hour break between lectures at the University of Trier and, as a freshman, bought this fragrance at Douglas with my money scraped together from all corners. I still remember very well the excitement I felt for my first fragrance. Many scents have followed since then, with the price range increasing further and further, just like with every perfume here ^^ The Prada l'homme can now comfortably sit in my perfume shelf next to an Amouage Interlude, a PdM Pegasus, or a VC&A Precious Oud. Before this, I had perfumes, but I always received them as gifts. Scents like One Million or Versace Pour Homme. However, this fragrance here is my first independently purchased scent, which is why I will always look back on it with nostalgia and the same joy I was able to give it back then.
As for the fragrance itself, I don't think I need to say much: Powdery, fresh, luxurious! With this, you smell as if you have just been washed in the washing machine ^^
Additionally, it should be mentioned that the bottle is definitely one of the most beautiful in the designer category. Very simple and, due to the leather-like, ribbed back, it feels very handy and pleasant in the hand.
It is a very good office/university fragrance. University describes it very well. I hope I can nostalgically look back on this for the rest of my life.

Incredibly beautiful scent. Definitely deserves more attention in the community!
I don't know why everyone here is bothered by the "oud"... Please just overlook the name and immerse yourself in this fragrance. It is a very beautiful, sensual, fruity, and floral scent that also boasts decent longevity. The sillage is clean as well. With this fragrance, you will definitely stand out. It is rather feminine, which can appear very elegant on male wearers. On female wearers, it blossoms fully. The bottle is very simple, and the presentation is really impressive, making it a great gift. Scent-wise, it is the best in my collection. Feel free to check out my collection to see what kind of competitors it had to measure up against ^^

Why doesn't anyone smell the chocolate out? ^^
I have from Amouage, besides Interlude, Reflection, Sunshine, and Lyric so far. However, in my opinion, Interlude stands out significantly.
In terms of longevity, no perfume can compete with Interlude. I was able to smell it on my turtleneck even 3 weeks later. Also, when it comes to sillage, no one can match it. When you wear it, people can smell you before you even enter the room. 100%.
It should also be mentioned that, despite its strength, it simply doesn't overwhelm me. This is probably because the ingredients are very natural, hardly artificially made. So it is very pleasant to wear. Only when it comes to the scent occasionally hitting the nose can it become a bit nauseating, but that can be overlooked.
Now let's talk about the scent itself. Very, very resinous and smoky, but with a slight touch of "luxuriousness." And the scent gets better the longer it lingers.
What seems to go unnoticed by everyone here, but I can definitely smell, is that it becomes very, very chocolatey in the dry down. I wouldn't classify it as a gourmand because of the opening, but it becomes very, very deliciously chocolatey after about 5-6 hours. I have rarely experienced such a versatile scent. Definitely worth every cent. A clear 10/10 in all 4 categories.

Quite okay, but doesn't live up to the praise...
Since the review update on Parfumo, Herod is now at the top. Even the good Demi Rawling praises the scent as one of the best PdM's. However, I can't really get much out of this fragrance. It just smells like tobacco/cherry/cigar club. Nothing more, really. A nice, sexy, masculine scent. But I wouldn't know when to wear it. To stand out, other perfumes take precedence, including the better horse in the stable, "Pegasus." I wear it rather rarely, if at all, and even then, not very willingly. However, I wouldn't label it as a bad purchase, as it does take a different path than the mainstream, which is not surprising for niche perfumes. It's just somewhere between "Extraordinary scent" and "Bad purchase." Apparently, it simply doesn't suit my taste.
