Wonderful Desert Dune
Preface:

Moroccan rose and cinnamon. I am not a fan of roses. And I am not inclined towards oriental fragrances either. And I can't stand cinnamon at all. I probably wouldn't even test such a scent if it were sitting on a shelf in a store.

But still, the fragrance has made it into my collection. I really love the sales concept of Yves Rocher and Daniel Jouvance. Order something small, receive a ton of free goodies. This fragrance was included as a freebie in my last order. Luckily!

So unpacked: At least the bottle was beautifully designed, so if I already have it in my hands, I might as well spray it on.

Wuhuuuwoah. My goodness, I am amazed.

The rose is veiled, like the women in the Orient, it is unrecognizable yet present. It emits a floral warmth, and I wouldn't know it was a rose if it weren't stated here.

The scent starts off mildly spicy. Very mild, and then it becomes creamy. Really creamy, in a delicacy that resembles how sand dunes are outlined in the desert. But here, there is no dusty dryness. The fragrance is soft, caressing gently, tenderly wrapping around you, the golden ornaments of the bottle and the color are perfectly chosen.

The fragrance is very harmonious. It caresses you, makes you dream of the golden desert sun at sunset, camels in the distance, a pleasantly warm embrace surrounds you, a touch of 1001 Nights without oriental opulence. The sand dunes are softly outlined, golden from the evening sun, dreamily beautiful. The silky veil lifts slightly, a delicacy that enchants, envelops, has totally surprised and captivated me.

As for the development of the scent, of course, it is not outstanding, but the fragrance simply becomes softer, creamier, more harmonious, unfortunately it doesn't last forever, which wouldn't earn it a full 100%, but the scent convinces me so much that I have already reordered :)

Sweetly Floral Honeysuckle
Well, why my classification as feminine was changed to unisex is beyond my understanding. The scent is feminine, playful, womanly, lovely, harmonious, sweet, powdery. But perhaps men also like to smell like girls. The new, olfactorily bold, metrosexual man :)

For the scent is a playful, youthful fragrance. It reminds one of a young, wheat-blonde girl in a white dress, not quite a woman yet, very innocent, in a daisy meadow in spring.

The scent is as fine and playful as the honeysuckle flower appears: delicate, white, slightly light yellow, filigree. The fragrance is very sweet, really very sweet, yet warm without drifting into gourmand territory; when it closely connects with the skin, it becomes slightly powdery. It is a perfume oil that intensely bonds with the skin and forms a close, lovely-harmonious veil, not a typical scent progression, just a powderiness that accompanies it.

I really like the scent very much, even though it is somewhat one-dimensional and almost too lovely, but this sweet, skin-close powderiness that lingers for a long time is harmonious and makes one smile even in such damp, cold weather.

As the Bottle, So the Scent - As the Name, So the Association
The scent is warm, golden, woody - Like an autumn walk at the edge of the forest above where I lived as a young girl, at the end of September, beginning of October, the leaves golden in the warm autumn sun, the first leaves on the ground leaving a woody-leafy smell, the musk brings a bit of coziness, like a warm wool scarf. I am an absolute late summer and autumn fan. I love this cozy, golden warmth, with crackling leaves on the ground, the scent in the air gently caressing, the coming cold still unreal and far away. The scent awakens another memory, of a poplar avenue, all the leaves saffron yellow, the sun warming me, snuggled up in woolen autumn clothes on an old city bike - headphones, listening to Stereophonics - Nice to be out. The perfect late summer-autumn feeling I felt back then is brought back to me with this scent. The top note, sparkling, bright, slightly citrusy, like the sparkle of sunlight through the leaves, like the feeling of morning dew in the slowly approaching autumn. I like the opening, especially now, on these dark winter days, to be reminded of the golden autumn with its cozy, still warming sun rays and to snuggle into it. Slowly becoming a bit powdery, cuddly, gentle, perfectly embodied by the musk. A few autumn flowers join subtly in the background. Then the autumn scent remains, settling down, close to the body, woody, warm, golden.

What do you represent?
Ferrari.... a brand that is associated with fast cars, luxury, and possibly even potency.

And now, a fragrance from this very house. Surprisingly in a low price segment.

The scent starts off striking, very citrusy, with high recognition value. But is it really well made? In my opinion, this fragrance has something too pronounced, too distinctive, a bit too much, as if the perfume, like the cars, must stand out, which it doesn't quite achieve.

Because it lacks a harmonious transition. The top note is zesty, fresh, not just citrusy; the berry adds a spicy-sour note. It's not bad, interesting, but I still miss a snug harmony; a three-day stubble can evoke the association of wild masculinity or simply come off as scratchy, depending on what is being represented.

Here it is scratchy, though not so much that I would dismiss the scent as bad. In the heart note, a bitter, pronounced masculine note joins in. If the overly strong, rough distinctiveness were missing, the fragrance would attract me. But as it stands, it remains lukewarm, not bad. This leather accord is masculine, but masculinity alone is not enough; class, elegance, eloquence, charm, nature, something more must underline this masculinity, make the wearer unique, and this should not just happen with a scratchy three-day stubble. It has to fit. Something is missing, something is too much, something doesn't quite fit.

The base remains bitter. Pronounced. I would recognize the scent; a signature remains, but unfortunately without harmonious attraction, without awakening something animalistic in me, without luring me to dream, unfortunately no. I don't know if this is due to skin chemistry (not tested on me) or if my nose simply doesn't like the chosen combination.

And yet, I wouldn't dismiss it as bad; it is too intense and interesting for that.

Certainly worth a self-test. But it doesn't reach the point of a purchase for me.

In the Topaz Blue Sea of Flowers
This new fragrance comes subtly in blue. It didn't really catch my eye at first, but when I tested it, I found it to be really well done.

The opening is very fresh, transporting you as if you were standing on a white sandy beach, the bright clear topaz-blue sea water, clear freshness, a light breeze in your hair, the waves gently dancing around you.

Then, you are surrounded by light blue and white flowers that blend harmoniously into the overall picture. The mandarin is still present, emphasizing this association with freshness, but more and more, the opening is carried away by the light flowers floating on the water. The overall impression becomes softer, finely tuned flowers, gently washed by maritime freshness in the background.

There remains an aquatic gentle powderiness, harmoniously played by the lotus. One can dream a little on a dark November evening; this scent takes you there.

You must give this fragrance a chance, a bit of sea feeling with gentle flowers; it's worth a try :)
