Fanta with ginger.
I bought the discovery set, tested them all and to be honest this one was best. nothing mind blowing. Simple and good its not trying to be something special. grapefruit, ginger and iris. smells like fanta with the added ginger. the ginger dont over power the freshness and citrus smell it just adds little something to it. its linear scent it dont change at all. the performance is not great. it dont project or last very long but the scent forgives that combined with the fact its not expensive.
Bratva
Dimly lit office wooden walls, leather couches and big wooden table in middle. the high ranking bratva member is sitting at the table on his leather chair. smoking cigar and sipping whiskey. the office smells combination of whiskey leather and dark wood. there is also little coffee stains on the other sleeve from earlier.
this is strong scent and you have to wear it like a man or you are its slave.
Deception.
Its decepts you like nothing else. the hemp plant tempts you but you are not sure should you, but the hemp is decepting you with this amazingly fresh grapefruit. the hemp is covered top to bottom on this juicy grapefruit juice and you give in.
the first few hours are hemp and grapefruit juice and the skunk is there but its not the main player in there. its not even super animalic or fecal.
As it dryes the florals and base notes start to play the main role. the grapefruit has faded but the hemp is still in there. it has done 180 degrees turn and its totally different. im not biggest fan of citrusy stuff but this is something i truely would see ending up on my shelf at some point.
Velvet Cream & rose petals
At first sniff i quickly get something animalic, but that fades instantly and the journey begins. Its velvety and smooth cream. Little sweet but just in the right way.
The Roses are one of the best i have smelt. giving it this oriental and floral feel. And the oud and sandalwood make amazing backround. I feel without that woody backround it would be somewhat too sweet/floral, But thats just my though.
To be gourmand or not to be ?
In the heart the cacao would make you belive it is gourmand, But the oud in there tells different story.
Once you spray it and take the first sniff the animalic quality of Deer musk and ambergris are very noticable. Id say its not bad thing at all as its blends very well with the cacao and oud at the heart giving it creamy animalic side, but its not very long lived.
At somepoint the musk and ambergris are left behaind and you are left with most beautiful dark cacao with truely amazing oud. And the resins at the base compliment it very well.
Its truely a master piece and something you admire how well its made. Its not super complex scent but is that bad thing ? I belive its not.
It gives me feeling of some royal palace in middle east long time ago.
