A nice grapefruit with slightly tart ginger, but somehow something is missing
I was really looking forward to TangerinePearl. After the one or other very positive comment from a few people at the perfume fair in Milan regarding TangerinePearl, this fragrance really appealed to me.
Well, it's also beautiful somewhere. It has a very nice and authentic grapefruit note, plus a relatively tart ginger accord.
At the beginning, the grapefruit is clearly the dominant part, the ginger is not really recognizable yet, but after not too long the slightly tart ginger note is added. Towards the end, it also dries down relatively tartly and only when smelling it closely can you still sense some grapefruit in the background.
Not much more happens here.
In other words, we get a fairly linear fragrance progression here. I'm often even a fan of this, but I still think that a little progression would have done this fragrance some good.
Tangerine Pearl is also quite weak on the chest.
It is already difficult to project and in my opinion you can hardly perceive it yourself.
I think there could have been much more here. The basic DNA is really nice, but unfortunately it lacks a bit of power and possibly another great twist that would have done the fragrance good.
