A Zodiac Sign Perfume
I saw a very nice video on YouTube about zodiac signs and the corresponding fragrances. Since I find the topic quite fascinating, I really wanted to know if it would apply to me as well. Of course, one cannot always claim that a fresh, oriental, or whatever scent fits zodiac sign XY. But I was still curious.
The fragrance is said to suit Scorpio. So if we assume that the Scorpio zodiac sign likes oriental scents...(feel free to write below if it’s the same for you??)
It applies to me.
It is supposed to be a scent that perhaps not everyone loves, one that is very individual and unique. Something mysterious and preferably powerful.
Fortunately, I quickly found a lovely person here with whom I could swap a decant, thank you ;-)
I had never smelled or heard of this brand before.

Of course, I read all the comments here and was curious whether I would also smell oil, rubber, or something similar.
Then the decant arrived. At first, I only sniffed at the opening. It immediately gave me a feeling of: This feels familiar. However, it is such that I (can't really) compare it to another fragrance, as it is quite special.
What some perceive here as oil or rubber, I perceive as a bit waxy (I believe this has been mentioned here before)
It is a very creamy, warm, and vanilla-like wax, which I find particularly nice and pleasant.
Soon after, something sweet develops, which reminds me a bit of heliotrope, and it becomes powdery. I find the clove harmoniously integrated, and it is really a delicate carnation. In some fragrances, garden carnation is listed, but you often get a prickly spice clove. This is a really beautiful delicate garden carnation ;-)
I can’t pinpoint the other notes exactly. There is something spicy in there. I imagine a hint of cumin, as well as a minimal smoky touch. That might be the part that some perceive as masculine.
I wouldn’t clearly categorize the fragrance as female or male; it moves in between.
Longevity and strength I find very good. For my nose, though, not too exaggerated.

For me, the fragrance is an exciting new discovery after a long time, so I had to get a bottle.

If I had to assign the fragrance to a season, it would be autumn, which also fits with the zodiac sign...

If I were to compare the fragrance with those I know, I would stick my neck out and say: Very far from Femme de Montblanc Eau de Parfum. At least that’s how I perceive it. It is of course not 100% identical, just a direction.
The Montblanc is considerably sweeter, but when it comes to warmth, spiciness, and powderiness, they have a similar aura.

I would recommend the fragrance to someone who likes powdery and spicy scents with vanilla and is not put off by garden carnation or a special note like in my case wax or also (rubber, oil).
and to oriental Scorpios :)
