Jasmine + Cypress = Love
I almost bought this a few years ago, but I chose something else. I am SO glad I came back to it! I love the way this fragrance develops through the day.

The citrusy beginning is bright and pretty without being too sour. The jasmine is absolutely luscious as it becomes more prominent, and I am loving the jasmine and cypress combo here. I don't detect the pine directly, but I think it may be what gives a richness, without being heavy, to this fragrance. I do detect a slight herbal note, which I guess is the bay, and it really brings something interesting to the fragrance.

To me, this is not your standard citrus-white floral-woody fragrance (not saying those are bad), which makes it appeal to me. This is absolutely perfect for spring and summer, regardless of humidity. We've had a cooler, drier spring than usual, and Paradiso lasted over 8 hours on skin. Now that it's getting warmer and more humid, the longevity is even better, 10-12 hours without excessive projection. For my taste, this leans feminine, but I think a lot of men might be comfortable wearing it. It's very reasonably priced and good for a variety of events: work, casual, formal, a night out, whatever.

Uncertain citrus floral...
Comparing to masculine perfume shelves, feminine summer fragrance is literally much lesser but Cavalli solved the problem in his own way! Making a perfume for summer with hints of masculine fragrances, for that the actual fragrance has androgynous aspects. So there's no surprise while this perfume remains in stocks and doesn't meet favorable sales rate.

It unfurls with fleshy/indolic jasmine mingled in yummy mandarin juice. A soft hint of conifer and bayleaf at the end does nothing but keeping the freshness citruses has established in the beginning.

The key point is jasmine. It resembles to tuberose, that's why the carnal effect intensifies when jokey citruses fade away.

Longevity: 5/10 not that type of smell you expect more that few hours.
Sillage: So-so, about around your skin only.
Scent: As a man I love it, but women should rate it. So girly and cutesy.

when in a bad mood, please spray 2-3 times over the body
I really like this scent because it simply puts me in a good mood.

The bottle is relatively bulky, with a thick round cap that reminds me of a lead crystal ball.

Sprayer: it mists finely, and a sufficient amount comes out.

The scent is fruity-fresh at the beginning. But by no means as fresh as Light Blue or Moschino's Cheap & Chic I Love. Because alongside the friendly citrus notes, a truly wonderful jasmine immediately joins in for me. Not as heavy and cloying as in Alien, rather light, summery, sweet. So mandarin-citrus with sunny jasmine. Wonderful, it immediately brings to mind a radiant summer day. Yellow. Bright. Sunny.
After a while, the mandarin recedes, leaving a hint, but the jasmine remains constant, becoming a bit sweeter. It finishes sweet, woody, sunny, soft, and warm.

Sillage: initially quite strong with 2 or 3 sprays, but it diminishes after 20 minutes and then stays closer to the body.
Longevity for me, depending on the weather, is up to 4 hours in cooler weather.

I find the scent very successful.
What interests me about this fragrance is that I generally do not like flowers and blossoms in scents. But here, jasmine truly takes center stage. Surrounded at the beginning by citrus notes, and towards the end by sweeter woods. And jasmine has previously been more of a horror candidate for me; I personally find the purple Alien quite dreadful. But what a stroke of luck, this jasmine here has been marinated in proper mandarin juice :)

I know you from somewhere? Really great summer scent
When I first sprayed Paradiso, I immediately thought, "You seem so familiar." This is not meant as a judgment, but do you know that feeling when you smell something and instantly think, I've smelled that before? That's how it was for me with this one. It wouldn't leave me alone... So I consulted the internet until I eventually stumbled upon it (I think it was even here.)
Someone wrote that this scent is reminiscent of YSL Libre, and I can really agree with that. They are not identical, of course, but they definitely have the same vibe, especially in the opening.
What I like even better about Paradiso is that it doesn't have that prominent lavender note like Libre, something I had to get used to with Libre. Paradiso is therefore noticeably softer at the beginning than Libre.
Paradiso was a blind buy for me because I was looking for something citrusy for the summer that isn't too sweet and has a light spicy touch. I was a bit worried about the pine and cypress notes, but since I read here that it smells like a vacation in the South of France and I had good experiences with scents from Louise Turner, I boldly ordered it on a whim.
And I have to say, I find it unexpectedly great, much better than I initially thought, and the more I wear it, the more I like it. Especially in the summer heat, this scent is amazing!❤️❤️❤️ It lasts incredibly well, on the body as well as on clothing, and is fresh, citrusy, and a bit spicy, a bit sweet, but not too much, making it a real discovery for me in summer. It also gives me high-end sunscreen vibes in the drydown, even though it has no coconut or any other notes that convey that feeling.
In general, I believe that Cavalli really offers great and high-quality scents for really good prices, and they last super well, which is very important to me. Still, I could imagine that this one is not a safe blind buy, as I find it unique due to the pine note, and one must also like that spiciness.
I also find the bottle super pretty, the only downside is that the cap might be a bit bulky, which could be bothersome in a handbag, but overall the bottle looks really elegant?
Because I heard so much good about Gemma di Paradiso on YT and I really like the classic Paradiso, I also bought Gemma, hoping to get a variant that is a tad sweeter than the classic. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with Gemma. My husband's dry comment: "Smells like insect repellent" ?
If you like Libre by YSL, you might enjoy Paradiso. It's significantly cheaper and lasts at least as well as Libre for me. Whether Paradiso is suitable for cooler weather, I still need to test.

A Walk on Clouds
Paradiso has, let's put it this way, positively blown me away.
With its fresh, extremely cheerful, and summery note.
It already puts me in a good mood for the vacation days that lie ahead of me.

Letting the sun hit my pleasantly full belly.
A gentle breeze that tickles the nose and skin.
Finest sand that you sink into gently.
Clear water that invigorates you.
Music that lifts your spirits.
Then again, silence.
Thoughts have fallen asleep, the body is completely carefree.
You enjoy fully.
You feel how the stress slowly fades from your mind.
You feel how the tensions dissolve.
You feel how the thoughts gather and dissipate into nothing.
I can't think.
Thinking is sometimes really unnecessary.
Worries are unnecessary.
People who always want to dictate everything to you are unnecessary.
People who push you further back instead of driving you forward are unnecessary.
You are weightless.

Forget everything!

Like a bubbling waterfall, the bad thoughts and worries are ignited from the body.

Paradiso lets me float in the water and at the same time walk on clouds.
I feel so free, so carefree, and so relaxed.
It develops initially quite citrusy and fresh. I must admit, I distinctly perceive the mandarin, alongside a wonderful pineapple/mango scent. It lets pleasant tones speak. Slowly, a warmer, sweeter note comes in. You are enveloped by its lovely nature. The jasmine hangs like a hammock in the scent, whispering a bit from the violet. They are a well-rehearsed team. The fragrance then becomes lighter and softer. It practically douses you with an aquatic quality.

For me, one of the best new releases and an absolutely successful perfume. Not complex. Not so complicated. Not particularly unique, but still a faithful companion for the upcoming beach vacation. It is just as well suited for summer at home. For an extensive swimming evening, for a gathering with friends, etc.! It clings to me for up to 5 hours. The sillage is in the middle range, but that's exactly how I want it!

As a seasoned spice - oud - incense woman, Paradiso has completely convinced me. The only thing I would criticize is that I imagined much more juicy fruity notes that don't fade away so slowly and pass on to the flowers. It is simply constructed. Simple is also good sometimes. When I think about everything I’ve had under my nose from all the complex, hard-to-understand niche fragrances, I am also glad to catch some solid mainstream scents that practically overwhelm you with a fresh and cheerful mood.
I like that!

The bottle is very chic. It sprays precisely and fits well in the hand.

And now, I’ll take another round on the clouds.
Thanks to Paradiso.

This very precious bottle contains a quite good scent: it opens with citrusy accents and after the Jasmine notes arrive to give it warmth

Reminds me of Redken hair care products from the 1980s. Jasmine and cypress make a killer combination here!

Fresh, warming citrus wafts over the Mediterranean cream-white walls, where young jasmine joyfully buds. Beautifully summery.

For me, it's lightly sweet, floral, somehow exotic fresh and woody at the same time. Just my thing. In my opinion, quite underrated.

It smells like a little wildcat wants to mark its territory, in a good way. It's very distinctive and lasts forever, yet feels light.

I'm surprised that no one has noticed a similarity to Libre here. Without the lavender, it's really similar - refreshing, beautiful!
