Yes, this scent may not be Micallef's greatest hit. And yes, the raspberry is very prominent and indeed, as another Parfumo wrote, it slightly reminds one of raspberry soda. And, I agree here as well, the sweet fruitiness may come across as a bit forced, too loosely woven in, perhaps even somewhat generic, not to say: synthetic.

BUT, here comes the big BUT: this fragrance gives me a longing for spring, colors, holding my face to the sun, stretching my feelers from the gray winter transition period - which for me also came with heavy depression - into the time of growth, sprouting, and budding, peeking out from my burrow to discover in the eyes of others who have awakened from their winter slumber the re-emerging joy of encounters and perhaps even a little flirt, in short: a desire for the sweet, light, and joyful life.

For me, "Hypnotic Musk | M. Micallef" is a feminine, delicate, fruity, sweet, playful, ageless fragrance that I began to love over the two weeks since I sprayed two spritzes in a perfumery on my jacket, as each time my left sleeve brushed past my face, I noticed how it, despite all reservations and criticisms, always gifted me a gentle smile.

I received the Eau de Toilette "For Her - Apricot Rose" by Victorinox-Swiss Army as a sample. Until now, I have only associated the brand with Swiss pocket knives. The top note is fresh-fruity, with the grapefruit being quite prominent. I can't detect the sage. The apricot and a sweet rose without thorns also make an appearance, along with a delicate powderiness. I find it somewhat generic, although hardly synthetic; instead, it is pleasant, agreeable, and without edges. It is a light summer scent, suitable for the young woman or female teen. For me, the occasions are leisure, sports; it would be too sweet for work. The longevity remains to be seen, but after the first 15 minutes, the fragrance already retreats significantly. In the heart, the apricot develops more strongly, and the sticky fruitiness increases, with time the synthetic impression becomes stronger, as if it had been hiding behind the fresh fruitiness. Over time, I find the scent less appealing.

Conclusion: I will probably use up the sample, but I wouldn't buy it. Overall, it's not a unique scent, a type of fragrance that has been smelled often and can also be found in the drugstore.
