Confusion of fate in Rainbowland...
I only recently afforded "Fate", although I found it totally ambivalent based on a sample.

But I was and am totally taken with the shimmering rainbow colours of the bottle and the pretty box... A dream!

Because he smells me like this:

At first completely indefinable, super strong olfactory, biting chaos. Like a giant black hole that may swallow me and everything around me. Whew. I can't smell anything. Everything pours down my poor nose unfiltered. Headache? Not yet. But almost!

After one hour:

Woody, incense, warm, some "pee-narcissus" ...

After two hours: Bang! There it is, the smell that I like so much in itself!

Balsamic, slightly creamy, soft, spicy. Not too loud, but not discreet either. Super classy, luxurious

After 3 hours still a little tamer, so he stays with me almost until the next day.

Well, man and woman have their fate in their own hands - I will only consult this one rarely and with care...

But: for the right woman or the right man, it will be the holy rainbow grail :)

Headache wood...
I really like some of the scents of L'Occitane, but this one is rather negative

The fragrance pyramid reads, for me as an oriental junkie, almost super. But what my nose heard was not art

Alcoholic upbeat, total synthetic sandalwood blaster, plastic ampersand... That's it.

At some point the alcohol evaporated and then only pure sandalwood. But just not the fine, balsamic-warm-wonderful, nee, furthermore this Kunstgeballer.

I am olfactorically very resistant, but here I really almost got a headache.

So he smells terrible on me, but he smells on a friend as the pyramid would suggest. That is why there is still the healthy mediocrity of evaluation.

Snugglepuss...
That was the very first thing that came to mind about that scent. "Cuddly flower".

Soft, slightly spicy-warm flower, cuddly and delicate, not obtrusive at all.

Later on, a little vanilla comes through, too.

Unfortunately not a very durable fragrance, but I know this from natural perfumes without "bad" chemistry not otherwise.

The fragrance is really extraordinary, natural and beautiful, light and easy, for every day. More for women, little ladies, he might be too "un-sweet".

The flacon and the outer packaging are also uniquely beautiful.

Little leather demon with angel wings...
I own pretty much every version of my former favourite fragrance "Angel" by Thierry Mugler, but this limited edition particle is really absolutely "special" and has a high fragrance quality, which in my opinion can easily compete with the big niche fragrances.

This fragrance even gets better with age and storage, I have hoarded two bottles. Very rich in formulation, very oily and heavy.

Woody, harsh, really the pure, freshly tanned leather, this leather, what you smell in new luxury limousines and what the finest leather jackets are made of. A little dark and melancholy

But under these hard notes there is also a whole round of the original angel, soft, fruity, sugary-sweet-gourmand, somewhere even for my nose, also something green and fresh.

The Sillage is definitely worthy of a concert hall and the durability is enormously good. The bottle is beautiful and the packaging, including a leather pouch, is a flatterer in any collection.

The oriental lover with the cigar afterwards - to spray...
Last year in January I was able to sample this fragrance. More by chance.

I remember it was bitterly cold that day. I had never heard of Amouage, although I have been around the fragrance world for a long time.

The contents of the small tube already looked so rich and intense, really oily and opulent in its golden yellow color.

I opened the cap and: Whoo-hoo! The smell knocked me right into other hemispheres!

Thousands of different scent molecules flew around me without me taking anything out of the little magic treasure or even rubbing it on my skin.

I smelled so many spices, lovely things and exotic-erotic in one pile, it was as if a handsome man first put his charm over me, wrapped in soft velvet and cashmere, then he made me fidget, hospitably poured me a tea.

But, when I let "him" dribble on my skin in fine doses, he did it wildly with me and attacked me like a wild animal, spoiled me and my nose after all art - until I seemed to become completely gaga in the head...

Then finally, some mercy:

For a softer afterplay there was a prelude of plush vanilla cream with a noble steamy cigar afterwards...

He held out until the next shower and reminded me of our first date, always present and without getting weaker. But he became a little more tame and cuddly...

Conclusion: A polarizing, absolutely developing, noble whole blood tale with cream, spice, smoke and also a distinct animal note. This spicy-creamy type also flatters men.
Too much makes it bad, little and carefully dosed, just right - has developed into my signature scent.

By the way, I own the very old version of the fragrance, which was still made in Oman.

Thanks Amouage, for this lover!
