A Dream Not Just for Christmas Time
I will keep it brief.
Its name is Progamm. A very individual, fruity, slightly but very slightly oriental scent.
At the start, it comes across as very fruity. Orange and raspberry are clearly recognizable.
After a few hours, the juniper berry and sandalwood stand out.
I only know juniper berry from gin :-)
This remains the case until about 8 hours in. What is very surprising about this scent is that a minty note appears.
After Reaction Man, which was my summer scent,
I have upgraded this fragrance to my current favorite. It will be my companion until spring. Possibly even longer...

Pimped-Up Baby Perfume
When I sniff Fire Island, I don't think of sunbathing, sunscreen, or tanned bodies.
Nope!
Instead, I feel transported back to the time when my cousins were still little and came back from vacation in Spain with their parents. I have no idea why? It was at least common back then to annoy the little ones with such a baby perfume! Probably to mask other smells ;)
This perfume reminds me of that.
Less citrusy and a bit softer.
I like it. I would wear it in the summer.

Not for me
There isn't much for me to write about this scent.
It's one of the few fragrances that triggers a negative reaction in me.
About 5 minutes after spraying it, my body temperature subjectively changes by at least 2 °C. I experience shortness of breath, dizziness, and headaches...
At first, I didn't take it seriously...
When I sprayed it once before driving and my concentration was so disturbed that I had to pull over, I realized I couldn't use it anymore.

Love at First Scent Test
I still remember the day when I was at a very well-known perfume chain,
which seems to choose its assortment more based on sales figures than quality characteristics, looking for a specific fragrance.
The rather passive saleswoman didn’t really want to address my wishes. However, this turned out to be very positive in hindsight.
She said something like: "this here is one of the slightly newer things" :) “Things”... OK, whatever! That it’s already four years old... also whatever!
She sprayed a spritz on a scent test strip and handed it to me.
Immediately, I noticed the scent of freshly brewed black tea! In my opinion, this is also the standout note. There’s also tobacco and a tingling in the nose that possibly comes from allspice. Myrrh and cinnamon give it a very lightly hinted oriental direction. There’s also a sweet component involved.
The bottle is beyond any doubt. Simple and beautiful.
This perfume makes me happy! I want to bathe in it. I will, because the shower gel is coming soon ;)
The first impressions in my surroundings were positive.
Apparently, it’s not so popular among Le Male fans ;)
I think it can be worn in leisure time, at the office (in smaller doses), and of course for going out.
There are only two questions that remain unanswered...
Why doesn’t it last longer than 3 hours?
Why does the guy in the Gucci Pour Homme II commercial throw the good perfume on the ground?

Many Perfumers Ruin the Scent
Well, I don't know...
What on earth sometimes goes through the minds of the clients of a perfume creation?
How can you put four perfumers together and approve such a product for production?
There are scents that paint pictures. There are scents that transport you to foreign worlds. With some, you feel comfortable, safe, or just good.
There are a few that trigger nausea or headaches at the first sniff.
Curve Chill for Men fits none of these associations.
In my perception of fragrances, it is the most unnecessary perfume I have ever smelled.
It goes with nothing, it just smells somewhat floral, not even really fresh but neutral.
Please don't ask me why I have it. I would gladly give it away!!!
