Iris tonka candy
Not for me lol.
This scent reminds me of the transition from fall to spring, lovely warmer scent cutting through the cold of the transition with a lovely fragrance they has a unique edge: iris.
Iris has been trending in the past year and it’s nice to see a sweet almost gourmand take on iris,

This scentt, as far as I can tell, is very linear.

It opens with lovely blend of sweetness and Iris, this ain’t no ionone iris accord bs, my guy uses real orris concrete i his batches.
One thing I hat about iris it that it’s either to sharp, screechy or ionone heavy. This is a masterful blended sweet vanilla tonka iris fragrance.

The orris goes so nice with the tonka, who would’ve thought.

While the tonka and sweetness may die off in a few hours, the orris will last for a very very long time as a skin scent, and it’s really nice catching whiffs of it more than 10 hours later.

Not so much a compliment puller, but I am in tropical climate,, just wanna get that out the way.

If I didn’t live in a tropical climate, this might be a signature.

Dark musky somewhat mysterious citrus
This scent brings me to bon fires in the winter(not scent wise)The crisp coolness of of the new night, the bright illumination from a campfire, all the while an alluring force calling you into the dark (yet comforting) abyss

It opens with a lovely citrus of burgamot and and nice sweet orange, with the grapefruit pamplemousse already popping though on the top.
The mid is a lovely pineapple rind, with the grapefruit, pink pepper to dry out that citrus just a bit.
But to me the big player in this is the black currant and rose. They both add a darkness to this fragrance that makes it very rich, not in any cloying way.
That black currant reminds me of noir detective movies when they step out of the office in the rain and light up a smoke. Dark, mysterious and stylish.
The base it’s a white musk ambergris and patchouli base, left with a very crowd pleasing dry down.
Blind buy worthy as you will smell good to others whether you like the scent or not.

Lovely, although linear gardenia scent.
Growing up in a tropical climate, my mother always grew flowers, pikake (peacock jasmin) puakenekene, plumeria etc, but my favorite by far was gardenias.
I love gardenias for its light white floral yet creamy quality, and Aaron translated this beautifully.
Top is gardenia. Mid is gardenia, base is gardenia. Lol. The jasmine and rose give this nice rich body. I’m not catching too much of the base notes like ambergris, but I am maybe catching the ass end of some sandalwood.
I’m a man 37m who bought this fragrance hat to expand my knowledge from just male centric fragrances.
Even though this is undoubtedly feminine, I love wearing this, at home, at work, out and about. My homies never compliments it, but I can’t stop receiving compliments from women of all ages. I’m sure they think I’m gay, but as long as I’m smelling good, that my friends is all that matters to me.

Simple no nonsense fresh woody fragrance
Imagine cutting wood on a crisp Sunday morning while sipping some lemon tea and taking a quick break and looking to look out over the sunrise, that’s this fragrance.

This fragrance in particular has a amazing effervescent bergamot opening, like sparkling bergamot, accompanied by some young woods and a believe just a hint of lavender, with not too generous helping of oakmoss with some vetiver to help woody things out. I wouldn’t call it a fougere for lack of a decent amount of lavender or coumarin, but it gives a very fougere like feel. If all those things turn you on then this is a blind buy.
The oakmoss is really well done, not too dank or overbearing, just a nice light smooth oakmoss.
On clothes you’ll get a nice woody rindy oakmoss for hours, though projection still dies after a hour half.
Projection is great, longevity is very decent for a freshie, price was a bit up there but worth it to me at least.

This is one of the standouts for me from the house of ATH, not going for mass appeal, just looking to make a small audience very happy.

I feel as if we are going to seek less artisanal niche approaches to his new fragrances in the furure, as he’s trying to hit a wider demographic.

This is a summer spring maybe fall fragrance, signature worthy, office safe, sweaty day safe.

My signature fragrance, Sadly it’s been discontinued. Lucky I stocked up on 5 bottle while it was on sale.
