Lovely tobacco from Richard herpin
This is an overlooked well crafted tobacco fragrance.
Rich with fruity florals, this is a well crafted gestalt of separate notes.
What makes this for me is the top and mids.
The apricot note at the top is amazing, supported by the rich boozy aspects of the davana make this a very complex fragrance that comes together beautifully as a whole.

Doesn’t shine on everyone
The other day my homie came in smelling great. The scent he was wearing was pompous, loud and obnoxious, and it was lovely.
That scent being LBEE.
On my skin, I don’t like it. The grapefruit is a bit harsh to my nose, but the main reason is the way my skin chemistry reacts to whatever mixture or musks and woods in the base. It comes off more musky than fresh on me.
That just goes to show you, diffskin chemistry brings out other facets that your skin may not.
Wouldn’t recommend as a blind buy, just for that reason, but if your skin likes it, you’ll love it.

Not an Aventus clone
When I first bought this bottle it was a chemical mess, everything was way too harsh, especially the citrus opening. A year later, shit smells nice.
We open with a sharp generic citrus, with a pineapple sweetness.
The mid is where we differ from Aventus. Aventus has that distinct woody accord, while CDN has a more floral, although masculine mid. There is a touch of wood (cedar?) but i comes off as mostly light floral.
The base feels like an even blend of musk , clean patchouli and a hint of vanilla.
This is not an Aventus clone, and I feel it shouldn’t market itself as such. This fragrance has enough merit to stand on its own two legs, and the quality to price ratio is amazing.

A safe inoffensive scent
This is a safe, although boring woods centric scent.
You get a few minutes of bergamot and pepper, a bit of pine, but after that is all cedar. That’s it. Everyone go home.
It’s boring but I like it, it’s well crafted, not a lot of nonsense notes to mislead the customer. It’s just a nice fresh woody scent.
Projection and longevity suck, but at discounters, the price isn’t bad at all.
Recommended if you want a nice not in your face scent at a good price.

Wasn’t an instant hit
I thought this was the most generic of Aaron’s scents he had at the time.
At first spray it comes off as a generic axe spray, very much tailored to a younger crowd.
As I kept applying throughout the year, I’ve noticed the quality in this fragrance. Don’t get me wrong, this is still a very young centric fragrance, and it can come across as a body spray, but that’s due to this fragrance being made with crowd pleasing intentions.
The top is Aaron citrus dna, a sparkling bergamot and grapefruit.
The mid is what I really like, the apple accord is really well done imho, and the tonka gives it a lovely darkness to what might be an otherwise bland fragrance.
The drydown is Aaron’s clean woody patchouli base you see in a few other of his fragrances with a touch of oakmoss.
The tonka and oakmoss give me a date night feel, although this fragrance shines in hot and cold night and day. I know I said this is a young fragrance but I’m in my late 30s and I happily wear this.
Of all of Aaron’s fragrances I feel this is the best price to quality and quantity ratio.
During field tests, of all of Aaron’s fragrances, legend has pulled the most compliments for me.
