Spice Cake and Vanilla Crescent
After a long time, I am writing a comment again. After hearing that this fragrance - presumably in connection with the release of the new Carbon - will be taken off the market, I quickly grabbed it. The scent had been on my list for a while, and I liked it more each time I sprayed it in the store. Moreover, I am a fan of the Luna Rossa line. That’s the introduction; now onto the perfume itself:
Bottle: black and red - beautiful! The metallic grid looks high-quality from the outside, but you shouldn't press it too hard, as it starts to creak. The sprayer is very good, but I have seen in some stores that the spray head got stuck on the tester, so caution is advised when using it. The included "cap" is a joke. Cheapest plastic, completely unaesthetic and pointless, as it is open at the top. Prada can do better! I just set the cap aside, and visually, the bottle is one of my favorites.
Scent: the title says it all. Soapy lavender with a hint of gourmand. The opening is very harsh and takes some getting used to; it often held me back from purchasing. However, after about 5 minutes, the development begins: the harsh lavender transforms into a soapy, delicate spice cake underpinned with spices (noticeable juniper berry, pepper, amber, and in my opinion, cardamom) and vanilla. This mild lavender increasingly comes to the forefront and makes this scent truly special, almost with an oriental touch. I don’t find it clean or even unisex; the smoky and spicy elements make it too masculine and aloof. The base is actually the highlight. From spicy to sweet. The vanilla perfectly accentuates the lavender in the final breath of the fragrance, thus completing the whole symphony. Full marks!
Longevity and sillage: The longevity on clothing and hair is impressive. 12 hours and more are achievable, which is not often found in the designer segment. The sillage is quite strong in the first 5 hours, then begins to weaken (but not weak!). In principle, I would give the sillage 8 points, but since the scent in the sillage is even more stunning (prominent vanilla and juniper berry) than in close proximity to the wearer, I also give full marks here.
Conclusion: it behaves like Sauvage. If you smell it too closely, it comes off too intense and perhaps even prickly and overloaded. However, if you give the fragrance some time, it becomes wonderful and very attractive. A great scent, and I am glad I bought it, eagerly anticipating the new Carbon. So far, Extreme is the best scent in the 'Luna Rossa' line and one of my absolute favorites. Hats off, Prada!

So far my fragrance
I dedicated my first comment to this fragrance. I am now revising it.
Where do I start? I fell in love with this fragrance at the very first sniff. Consequently, I purchased it right away.
About the scent: It remains fundamentally linear. Generally, this is not something that appeals to me, but BBI seems to be an exception. It is sweet, slightly woody, creamy, and soft. I only perceive a hint of orange blossom, more so the sandalwood, vanilla, and cinnamon. These are harmoniously balanced, creating the mentioned creaminess. In the end, a sweet-leathery note remains. BBI also seems very attractive to others; I receive compliments every time I wear it.
Longevity/Sillage: The sillage is quite strong, the longevity is decent. In autumn and winter, I like to apply it quite generously, and then it can last 9+ hours. As mentioned, the sillage is quite strong; it is well perceived.
The bottle: Classic, timeless, familiar, handy. More beautiful than the original, nothing more can be said.
Occasion: In autumn and winter, it works almost always. For the disco or similar evening events, in my opinion, it has too weak a performance.
Ps: The Boss Bottled DNA is definitely present, but much deeper and richer.

Strong, sweet, minty, young.
This will be a difficult comment. Putting Eros into words is incredibly hard. Eros is an art, in my eyes, however, a typical Versace art. Something extravagant, eye-catching, and different.
Now, one could accuse me of saying that it is in no way something else. Sweet-sticky scents can be found on every corner. And it is not art, as it is far too simple in its construction. But I see it a bit differently. See for yourself:
The bottle: One of the most beautiful ever. The Medusa stands out from the center. All around, the meander pattern can be found. The bottle is deep blue, the spray unit works well, and even the cap is very high quality. It is also adorned with a golden Medusa.
Scent: Strong, sweet, minty, young. The sweetness is overwhelming, only the mint cools the scent down a bit. Vanilla and tonka bean are omnipresent throughout the entire scent development, and the cedar in the background smells very pleasant. The scent development is linear - except for the later emergence of the cedar. It comes across as extremely young and eager due to its sweetness. Why is Eros art for me? Eros manages to captivate me. Versace has once again created something mysterious. Something daring. Because Eros is different from 1 Million and its ilk. Something more sensitive and deeper. At the same time, however, it is also the exact opposite, namely coarse and intrusive. It has a polarizing effect. Some hate it, others love it.
Longevity/Sillage: The longevity is definitely in the upper range: 10 hours+ is a walk in the park for Eros. The sillage? Extreme! There is no other word for it. For me, the strongest sillage I have ever smelled (at least on my skin!). Two sprays and you are absolutely filling the room.
For me, in winter, it is an everyday scent and otherwise a going-out scent. For other occasions, it is too overpowering. I wouldn’t exactly wear it for the first visit to my mother-in-law.
Conclusion: For me, Eros is a daring play between warm, powdery sweetness and cool mint. You have to be confident to wear it. It is not necessarily masculine, but extraordinary and worth an unbiased test.

After an extensive test...
...here is my opinion on Versace Man Eau Fraiche.
Bottle and packaging: two weeks ago, the package arrived at my place. I ordered the EdT (50ml) along with a shower gel and an aftershave. The box is beautiful and stays true to Versace - being very eye-catching. The bottle is also quite nice - not my favorite, but I like it. Light blue, with waves on the side, it features a Versace Man logo and below it, an Eau Fraiche inscription. Unfortunately, the cap is made of plastic and therefore doesn’t feel particularly high-quality. The spray mechanism, on the other hand, works great - no dripping or spraying.
Scent: it starts with pure, youthful lemon. I can't smell much else at first. A bit sweet and definitely attractive. A few minutes later, the starfruit joins in. It makes the scent more maritime and creamy. I can also faintly perceive cedar, but not much else. The rosewood and musk are likely responsible for the sweetness. The scent doesn’t change significantly as it develops, but that’s not a bad thing. I really like it and enjoy wearing it! My description is therefore citrus-sweet.
Longevity/Sillage: The longevity and sillage are the only minor criticisms. Below 20 degrees, it’s probably not noticeable. But so what? It’s not made for those temperatures anyway. Above 20 degrees, it lasts a good 5 hours before you need to reapply. The sillage is strong at first, then fades a bit, but remains pleasantly detectable. It’s a shame that I couldn’t really wear the scent this “summer.”
Conclusion: as always, a bold and good Versace. Young, sporty, dynamic, and attractive. Perfect for warm/warm weather. In my opinion, it’s unisex. Anyone looking for a better alternative to 'Light Blue' for women will find it here, as it lacks the scratchy, overly sweet, and synthetic floral mix. I give it a clear recommendation for purchase!
A small note: The scent actually lasts longer than described, quite well for a summer fragrance. You can expect around 8 hours!

Meets its target audience...
I have the honor of being the first to comment on the new "1 Million" offshoot. I was able to test it today in a perfumery in Mallorca.
The bottle, or rather the first impression: it feels high-quality, the usually golden face is now in a dark brown. The number 1 and several labels stand out in gold. However, in my opinion, it looks worse than the original (which I really like). The spray unit? Well. It squeaks again when used, but it sprays an opulent amount. That's how it is known from the other offshoots. A design like the Cologne would be desirable. Nevertheless, I like the bottle.
Now finally to the scent: Sprayed on - smelled. First impression: Extremely sweet sugary water with a hint of femininity! Oh no! But then the scent settled. It smelled good, but reminded me of another fragrance. Namely the new "Code Profumo" by Armani. Almost 1:1. Vanilla and tonka bean refined to elegance. Nothing of patchouli, myrrh, or the grand top note of the original can be smelled. But still, it was very appealing in its own way. I also perceive shisha tobacco - unfortunately! But as it says in the title, this will surely please the target audience. The base is great. Sweet, a little spicy (cinnamon?!) and sensual. Ideal for winter! Although I don't think much about seasons and such (I wear a fragrance when I feel like it), it is simply too intrusive in summer.
That brings us to longevity and sillage. As is typical for the 1 Million "series" (excluding the Cologne), it is very strong and has a showy sillage. 10+ hours are easily achievable, at the beginning the scent has a quite room-filling sillage. Almost like that of Versace's "Eros," which for me is the benchmark in terms of sillage!
All in all, a successful fragrance that will surely upset some! This is a good thing. The hate before the fragrance hit the market thankfully remained within limits. If you see it, feel free to test it. However, it was not a revelation for me.
