More Tarzan Jane than Adam's Eve or: The other side of paradise....
This is not a lovely scent of paradise that describes a delicate landscape where you can walk carefree and smell innocent flowers.

No, Eden is rather the other side of paradise, a mysterious jungle full of tropical climbing plants, poisonous perennials with psychedelically colorful flowers and carnivorous plants that attract the visitor with their beguiling scent and then never let them out of their spell.

At first Eden appears harmless, citric, almost playful and lures you olfactorically into the depths of the green. There you suddenly find yourself surrounded by heavy, tuberose notes that will not let you go. Every now and then the orange blossom flashes like a will-o'-the-wisp between the trees, but whoever tries to follow it quickly loses himself in the patchouli abysses of the jungle.

For me, a surprising new discovery on the bottom shelf of the drugstore today (even if it has been around for ages), a fragrance like a tropical revelation in the dreary November frost.
A nice change to all the standard designer fragrances that are currently flooding the market!

And who doesn't need a little jungle feeling every now and then?

He's not doing anything, he just wants to play.
When I stumbled upon Narciso Rodriguez' "Pure Musc for Her" almost literally in a perfumery the other day - the stand was in the middle of the way, the mask not only restricts the nose but also the field of vision - I had to try it out right away, of course, and was positively surprised: clean, soft, flattering and comforting, somehow.

For a few days my new roommate moved in with me, not a sexy musky hero, but a faithful everyday companion, wearing a warm cashmere scarf, which he lends to a frozen perfume when she is shivering.
One who turns on the washing machine and wears fresh white shirts. Unkompliziert, with jeans or a suit, always fitting.
Nobody who does full-length heroics, but who needs superheroes every day

The musk is creamy, cuddly, delicately powdery but not sweet, the floral accords are discreetly in the background and the wonderfully minimalist bottle reflects exactly what is inside - you don't have to be a synaesthete to see the colour white in the fragrance.

A fragrance like a frosty veil of mist that softens the landscape and takes the edge off everyday life.

No Sillage Rottweiler, this musk scent does nothing, he just wants to play.

Champagne Jacuzzi with orange blossoms
Good thing I didn't read the fragrance description before, because otherwise this wonderful fragrance would probably never have moved in with me.
But from the beginning: I have been avoiding orange blossoms since I was a teenager and have always found them unpleasant. Maybe it was the synthetic scents of the drugstore perfumes and shower gels of the 80s that spoiled the orange blossom for me, but I had already put a hook behind it: nothing for me.

And now I am sniffing ecstatically at my arm, which has just been fogged up by my blind purchase and I can't believe it: Yes, that's orange blossom with a big "Ohhhhh" in it's purest form! And my nose sends my synapses lucky signals. I can't believe it, I am in love!
The orange blossom notes almost dance, buzz, glitter - and I can't get enough. My nose is like bathing in a champagne Jacuzzi

Slowly I also slowly perceive beguilingly tender, very pure jasmine, not a strenuous "headache" jasmine, but clean, white-shimmering, with the orange blossoms in an embrace.
Underneath there is a slight crackling sound - what is that? Ah, must be the patchouli. It reminds me of the patchouli in Coco Mademoiselle: also clean, not too earthy, yet warm and flattering, combined with the warm wood notes, which after a while also give in to the swing
And so the blossoms waved and danced together with patchouli and cedar for many hours - on my skin it really took me about 7 hours

I can't decide whether it's a perfume for daytime or evening use - I think it depends on the dosage. I wear the fragrance at work, but I also like to wear it when I go out - and even at home when it's cloudy and grey outside, like right now in November.
The silage is good, the bottle is elegant - Le Parfum will probably have a home forever with me!
