50s convertible car leather
The moment I smelled it, and I admit the story helped too, I associated the smell to light brown covertible car leather, something like James Dean had. From the majority of Imaginary Author scents this was on top of all the other by a mile, although Slow Explosions was a strangely attractive one too. This might be my top leather, a simple, underrated but unique smell. More than enough projection, longevity 10h+ and the smell brings me joy. Enjoy :)

Niche as designer
It smells good, a bit dark but rather unique among the common day sugar juices. I like it better than Hommage a l’homme and even more than the Encre Noire trio. It has that nice patchouli, vetiver papyrus combo that gives a certain class. A gentleman’s smell, doesn’t screm for attention and although quite polite in projection the longevity is 6h+. For the price, it’s a gem. For the smell, a double gem.

Modern it is
Hi, quite an accomplishment to bring the vetiver theme into a new realm of gourmand, let’s say so. It’s not edible but palatable cause it’s sweet , just enough, and the whipped cream accord makes it very interesting in conjunction with the nutty vetiver, as least that’s the nuance on my skin. Vetiver is prominent, you feel it all the way to the end, 8+ perceptible longevity 10cm above the skin, otherwise as skin scent it goes and goes. Not a huge projector, but makes you feel good, either as a daily driver signature scent or just going out.
