Black Opal
This is an all-time favorite of mine & is one of my signature scents. If you look up "welo opal" on Google image search, the photographs found are the best representation of the feeling & visual that this exquisite concoction conjures for me. This demon juice makes me feel like I'm floating in a dark sea of welo opal with a shimmering purple crescent moon reflecting on the oily water's surface.

The only downside to this fragrance is that it lasts, at most, for only around 4-5 hours on my skin. I have been working my way through the many Lempicka scents in the hope that I'll find a longer lasting EDP variant of this scent. Sadly, I've found that the closest in dry-down is the original Lolita Lempicka EDP, but this shares only the opening in common & doesn't last as long on me as the Midnight Couture flanker.

TOP: Cherry bakewell tarts, smoky myrrh & slithers of burnt rubber in a sea of syrupy black licorice with sugary bioluminescent plankton.
MIDDLE: Resinous tonka/benzoin ocean, subdued white flowers like the transparent wings of white butterflies fluttering upon the surface, dusty sweet jasmine & iris, earthy/mossy patchouli, subtle remnants of anise, warm amaretto liqueur with a sparkler lit on top.
BASE: More buttery iris, heliotrope, vanilla, play-doh, soft & powdery violet, and a sprinkling of icing sugar.

Musky Peaches
This is very peachy to my nose. Predominantly peachy.

I was expecting a subtle, yet complex, fresh & natural linden, ylang and orange blossom scent, just a touch of pear/lemon, all on a soft base of sandal. Possibly something evocative of fresh fields of barley and wheat? But, instead, all I got was (slightly musky) peach. Not a particularly bad peach, mind you, but still just (slightly musky) peach.

Puts me in mind of Valentino's Rock n Dreams & is also reminiscent of Orla Kiely's eponymous scent - another peach scent that promised something else & failed to deliver.

Expected feminine flowers, got simplistic "girly" shampoo.
Better suited to a teen by a poolside than a woman in a field.

Sweet & Sticky Slushy
Holy Hell. This stuff..... Wow.
Starts out all pukey violet. The bad violet - too sweet - akin to that used in Ultraviolet by Paco Rabanne. I'm really not a fan of that one. But joining the violet stampede, there rains a heavy downpour of extraordinarily indolic sweet pea.

Those screaming "grape!" are definitely onto something. I didn't for a second envision this scent to have the weight it has. Having read that it was "inspired" by biting into a violet macaron, I expected powdery and delicate violet on a soft floral base.

It's heady, heavy, and lays along the lines of Agent Provocateur's Maitresse. The violet note being alike, certainly. From my perspective, there's unmistakably something "bathrooms", "hotels" or "hospitals" about this, but I can't seem to see this as a negative. It smells almost like a blend of essential oils, specifically similar to a particularly pricey one I've tried by Darphin, called "8-Flower Nectar".

Candy sweet yet sultry. Like a blue Slush Puppy melting like butter all over a chocolate-coated, wilting bouquet in the heat of a sunny afternoon, on the windowsill of a hotel located at the heart of a British seaside town.
