First violent then changeable
My children opened the package and tested the scent in advance. When I noticed the scent, it was like a blow. Midnight Oud starts with a wort explosion, you don't know what you're smelling first. Allspice and oregano come burnt together with the directly perceivable incense. This is intense and not for everyone, but it smells very interesting. Afterwards "burnt" fades away and the smell becomes softer and softer. Incense embedded in sandalwood and amber. Oud permanently swings off slightly but not strongly, the leather is more noticeable. I find a great developing fragrance, craftsmanship is great. As I have not tested Interlude yet, I cannot compare the two. But for the price of this fragrance with the sophistication and top H/S; that's what he says

Gentle and only at the beginning sweet tobacco
I usually find tobacco exciting in scents and so I did not pass by here. In my eyes, Tobacco Reserve starts off very sweetly at the beginning, which would be too much for me if this went through. But it does not do so, because on the one hand it becomes less and less sweet or the sweetness bearable, on the other hand it remains unagitated here. The perfume is not obtrusive, but rather charmingly casual. Sure, at the grade it might be more environmentally friendly but that somehow raises Tobacco Reserve to a higher, more sublime level. In my eyes something for everyone who likes to smell tobacco in perfume but does not want to fall into the house with the door. Anyway, after two hours it gets rather harsh. Will find its place in my closet and be taken out from time to time.

I can't explain it... but the scent is fascinating
Of course I can already explain it, the base notes are really all the perfume components I appreciate and combine here to a high-quality result. Other perfumes I find really great when I smell them, egoist is different. Sometimes I catch myself thinking why I didn't spray an egoist today, the fragrance is kind of old and conservative but it has such a sublime aura. All too often I cannot perceive him in my surroundings either. Here and there you meet the Sauvages, Aventus and AdP of this world (which I also appreciate all of them) but egoists or even an Antaeus are hardly to be found. Kind of dropped out but very stylish. For me a great office fragrance also in the course of customer appointments

Animalistic beginning, then it becomes gentle
I start the evaluation with an anecdote: my 2 year old daughter - when she gets up before I go to work - usually accompanies me to the bathroom when I apply perfume. Usually she then says "Papa you smell super good" with woody, spicy, scents, she actually likes leather or similar. It wasn't like that here. She flinched irritated the first time and I could see that she didn't know what it was all about.

And therefore I can understand negative reactions, because in the first moment something explodes. For me Antaeus starts wildly, animalistically and then becomes more and more gentle. Often one thinks the scent is already gone, only to perceive it again moments later. Nothing for every day, I have other favorites. But we have here a fragrance with a statement, none that is interchangeable. That pleases me
