A Must-Have Freshie
It opens with an outstanding blend of mint and citrus, where the mandarin gently comes to the fore in the background. Don’t expect a citrus explosion or a mint candy. The top note is really very balanced and extraordinarily pleasant. I perceive very little from the heart note; instead, the top note lingers relatively long, lasting even up to two hours for me. After that, the scent transforms into a creamy aroma with a hint of woods. The scent progression is very nice and is a true all-rounder. Definitely suitable for sports, but also for a gray day at the office or a sunny day in the city. The fragrance really works for any occasion and is a great base for a collection. The sillage is not too strong and not intrusive, and the longevity is okay. Hardly anyone will be put off by this scent. It conveys freshness and lightness, almost having an ethereal quality. I can still perceive the base notes after a long workday, though up close. So, the longevity is okay. All in all, a clear recommendation for me!

Multifaceted - Its Greatest Strength and Weakness
I would like to share my experience with Althair by Parfums de Marly. I must say that I might be a bit biased, as none of the PdM fragrances I have tested so far have blown me away. This one is a bit different.

At first, I find it interesting. On my skin, it is somewhat strict, but the cinnamon is immediately noticeable. This strictness lasts quite a while - about 2 hours. Where it comes from, I can only guess: Is it the combination of the citrus from bergamot, the orange blossom, and the more gourmand cinnamon and vanilla? Unfortunately, I don’t like Althair that much up to this point, as the scent experience is rather challenging and not entirely harmonious - at least on my skin, which should always be mentioned.
Once the top notes recede, the cinnamon scent blends with vanilla, which increasingly comes to the forefront. The fragrance then becomes noticeably warmer, sweeter, and more pleasing. From here, I start to like it.

And here lies the crux of the matter. Althair undergoes a significant transformation. While many will surely appreciate this, it leads to some aspects not being entirely pleasing for me. However, one must acknowledge that it tells a story and reinvents itself over the duration of wear. I estimate the longevity to be good, while the projection is rather average. Will I add it to my collection? Not at least not right now. But it is definitely a candidate for autumn and winter.

A beautiful scent, but...
The Allure Homme Sport Edition Blanche is, in my opinion, quite an interesting flanker. It goes in a completely different direction than the Allure. It opens with a zesty lemon that is initially very expansive, and I don't mean that in a negative sense. It smells citrusy and summery, and not in small amounts. A look at the fragrance pyramid tells us that the top notes consist of pepper. To be honest, I can hardly perceive that. Maybe it's this slight tingling in the nose, but I also know that from citrus fragrances without pepper. So where the pepper in the pyramid comes from - I don't know. However, it continues, the intensely citrusy scent softens a bit and becomes creamier. I can detect leather here only very faintly in the background. The base becomes noticeably more blurred; here we have a balanced mixture that is primarily defined by vanilla, which I can still perceive well. But here we come to my biggest problem with the scent: The citrus note fades after just 4 hours and is then really only perceptible directly on the skin. And the entire fragrance departs along with it. The scent doesn't really develop; it is relatively linear. And as strongly as the scent projects at the beginning, it is just as quickly gone. And that is really a shame because the mixture is truly very balanced and reminds me of a summery fresh lemon sorbet. But be prepared that it doesn't last long.

Instantly in love with this scent
Do you know that feeling? You spray a fragrance, take a sniff, and think to yourself, Yes! it smells really good! The Reflection is not one of those fragrances; it’s better: Sprayed on, inhaled the first whiff, and instantly thrilled. Incredible! I knew after the first test that this one had to be in my collection. It smells very floral even in the opening. It might be just me, but I hardly perceive the top notes. It starts directly with a bouquet of flowers, set against a background of wood that goes hand in hand with the floral notes, giving the fragrance its masculinity. At the same time, it conveys a distinct cleanliness. This scent smells clean and well-groomed. Ironed white shirt, freshly shaved, well put together, and always welcome.
The spray head delivers a relatively small amount of perfume, but this is already enough to convey an intense scent. At first, the fragrance projects enormously, but I have the impression that this diminishes after a few hours. For me, in summer, after 6 to 7 hours, it’s rather close to the skin, which is already not bad. I also find that it reminds me of fresh laundry. At least, it smells the way I would wish my laundry always smelled.
Due to the purity and cleanliness that this fragrance conveys, it is clearly an all-rounder. It simply works for any occasion, whether at the office, on a date, going out, or just for feeling good. One of my current favorites.

Long-lasting and Sweet
This fragrance is truly something special. I have rarely had a scent that lasts as long as this one. Sprayed on my hair, I can sometimes still smell it the next day. And it is intense! An insane sweetness that also brings something seductive. I am glad to have the Eau de Toilette as well, because for the office this one would be too heavy for me compared to the EdT. I really like it for going out, for celebrations, and I would also wear it for dates. The profile of the fragrance remains almost the same throughout its longevity. For me, it’s a scent to stand out.
