A review that is not a review
If you are a vintage scent lover, chances are you have already smelled this beautiful scent and know how wonderful it is, so I won't bore you with my take on this cult classic.

However, I recently purchased a bottle of the vintage cologne and I didn't expect much longevity, but I am thrilled to report that the cologne lasted an entire day and and lingered into the next morning. So, the good news is if you are having a hard time finding an affordable bottle in the EDT, you may want to give the cologne a try.

Hidden Treasure
Fancy Nights is one of the most beautiful oriental scents I have ever owned. On my skin, it is sensuous and rich, with just enough sillage and the notes harmonize perfectly. I bought this blind on the recommendation of some perfume friends and after testing, immediately purchased a back up bottle. I have no idea who Jessica Simpson is and and don't care. This scent costs under $20.00 and smells way better than some of the Guerlains that I own.

Green Violet
This is my first wearing of this scent and I have a feeling that I will be wearing it often, as it is unlike anything I have ever worn.

This is a green violet on my skin, with a hint of non-sweet vanilla. It evolves into a lovely powdery scent with the violet coming and going as the musk comes forward. I do not smell very much of the patchouli at all.

Although there are not a lot of notes, to me this is a complicated scent with a vintage, old fashioned feel. All in all, it is a lovely powdery, feminine reserved scent with just the right combination of notes to turn it into a glorious show stopper.
