My signature scent!
I absolutely love this perfume! I've finished two 50ml and two 10ml bottles of this fragrance in the past year and just recently bought the 100ml version.

Very beautiful scent, and gets even better as the juice darkens. It's sweet but not too sweet in my opinion. Not really a gourmand (even though I've had people tell me I smell like a dessert when I wear this, I don't think it's a true gourmand).

The scent develops really well on the skin throughout the day. I can smell a bit of the patchouli but it's not overpowering at all.

Overall a beautiful, elegant vanilla scent. Amazing for layering!

Not for me
I tried this perfume about a year ago at Sephora, and absolutely loved the way it dried down on my wrist. I remember it smelling a lot like burnt sugar (in the best way possible). I kept thinking about it for a long time, and ended up buying a 100ml bottle.

Unfortunately, it was a mistake. This time around I can only smell the patchouli (which would be expected from a perfume with this name) and an overpowering sweetness.

I don't think it has the same burnt sugar quality I smelled at Sephora a year ago. When I put it on, I get almost nauseous. To my nose, it's sickenly sweet, and very sharp.

I don't know if I should let it sit for a while before revisiting it, but I'm considering getting rid of it.

A bit disappointing
I blind bought this perfume because I love the hair primer, and was left disappointed.

Apparently this is a new version of the perfume, which is supposed to be closer to the hair primer, but IMO it doesn't come close.

As many other people have said, this lacks the creaminess and sweetness of the hair primer. It's a bit more lemon-ey, almost like a lemon drop. Also I find the scent doesn't really last on my skin and I have to put my wrist to my nose if I want to smell anything.

I like to layer it with Chelsea Morning (also by Lush) to help me achieve the hair primer scent. I think this perfume doesn't stand on it's own, unless you are looking for a personal, slighly sweet, lemon scent.

It's a nice scent but I wouldn't recommend buying it if you're looking for an exact perfume version of the hair primer.
