Quite Irresistible
Why irresistible?

Normally, after a sharing decanting session (here filling 6 pens in a row), I usually don't feel like the scent anymore. But what did I spray on myself the next morning? - with pleasure - yes, again with Madly in Love. Somehow it doesn't let me go, and I could spray it on in the morning and evening without it annoying me, boring me, or becoming too much.

But let's get to the scent.

The top note:
It roughly goes in the direction of Black Perfecto. But it's not quite as sweet and fruity. Without licorice and rose and with less leather. It's a combination of pleasant fruitiness, just about bearable sweetness, a lot of light smoke, and, as I perceive it, a pinch of black pepper.

The heart note:
Smoke and sweetness decrease, the raspberry is still there. The jammy note from Back to Black joins in (a combination of honey and plum jam, in my opinion).

The base note:
Basically the heart note with a splash of Black Phantom and a lot of smoke. And everything connects wonderfully and captivatingly. It becomes softer but at the same time more radiant. Black leather smells different to me, but smoke and light, dry wood fit. The raspberry occasionally flashes through. Although from the base, I wonder if I wouldn't have guessed rhubarb in a blind test.

Longevity and sillage:
A drop is enough to clearly scent an entire office including the hallway for 2 hours.
I can't complain about the longevity either.

Assessment of the scent: It qualifies as niche, but I could imagine it being very well received by the general public. The more often I wear it, the higher the rating…

The bottle:
Looks chic and high-quality. The round glass ball stands on its head. The phrase “Yes I was…” is on all four sides of the cap.
The sprayer is easy to use. I was able to decant quite quickly and easily without a funnel.

Thoughts from the Hot Tub
No, I’m not sitting in my black hot tub right now.

And it’s not filled with warm mineral water to really make it BUBBLE and splash.

I’m also not drinking ice-cold champagne with a splash of ginger liqueur.

The lemon sorbet in my left hand isn’t cold either - it’s CRUNCHY and super delicious (probably because I sprinkled crushed green cardamom pods and peppercorns on top).

Where I plan to celebrate tonight --- I won’t reveal that either.

What will I wear? Possibly a very, very short leather mini.
And on top? Well, do you have any other QUESTIONS ;)

So, I’m diving in now.

Chin drops
First impression: Holy smokes...
ooohhhhhhhh !
No, not a moth but a big exotic butterfly. Just emerged from a damp tobacco pouch.
It crashes into a bag of dark cocoa powder and sends a decent amount of it flying into the air - and a lot of it onto the "wings".
Now it has landed on the bridge of my nose and I am breathing in and out very slowly because I am so afraid it might fly away.

Too Many Words for a Statement
The travel package from I. A. has just arrived, and I have taken too many notes about this scent to write just a statement. I don't have the time for a comment.
But not writing anything (or postponing it) is also not okay.

So here you get my "perception" in exactly the order I wrote it down on a piece of paper after work (5:00 PM - about 11:45 PM).

Red wine-sherry cask, spicy, spices, rose, juicy, very complex, US log cabin in autumn, expensive high ladies' leather shoes, a self-assured woman, slight bitter almond note, dried fruits, oud/saffron combo - but in a good way! black Turkish cherries, dry, amaretto mulled wine, elegant, cold, metallic, ROSE!, still wear it? Price?

The Color Black Translated into Fragrance.
We find ourselves late at night at an art opening in New York. In the 400 sqm large studio loft of the artist. The exhibition is titled “Nothing ° Inside * Black^“.

The entire avant-garde (those who consider themselves super cool) slowly stroll through the almost empty space. The visitors are all dressed completely in black, according to the latest fashion from the trendy designer, mostly male and very slim. Jewelry is currently out. There are also quite a few Japanese people present.
There is hardly any talking, and I am fascinated by an electro sound that is a mix of Gothic and Ambient (never heard anything like it).

What kind of artworks are being exhibited? No idea. Some black pictures and objects - I didn’t really pay attention. I find the scene people dressed in black much more interesting. Between us: I don’t really care for art. And just pitch-black pictures I find incredibly boring.

Why am I here? Well, because I want to be coool!!! ^#^ - and of course I am ;)
(I also hoped there would be a buffet. Then I could have treated myself to a purple cupcake or something with vanilla cream)

Oh yes, the fragrance description is still missing: The color BLACK translated into FRAGRANCE. Without sweetness. No flowers bloom on my skin. Heliotrope has hidden in the basement. After 10 minutes, I only smell dust-dry, pitch-black anti-hippie patchouli with depth down to the blackest soul.
Suitable fragrance for rather dark, silent types (mostly men).
Addendum: Or for established women who know exactly what they want.
