A work in progress...and a thank you to Parfumo.net!

My daughter was laughing at me today as I was taking various pictures of some of my perfumes in order to show them off here. I told her that I have about 160 perfumes and that I was shocked when I counted them and realised it was so many. At this point she said that she thought I had more and that it looks like I have thousands. Now I know that teenagers have a propensity to exaggerate, but it got me thinking. My collection is nowhere near finished. There are lots of new, vintage and niche fragrances that I've never tried, or that I've tested and really want. My collection will never be finished, because there have probably been millions if not tens of thousands of perfumes released in the 20th Century alone. I don't have a goal in site, yet I'm beginning to think that I need to approach my collection in a more organised fashion. But I'm a terribly disorganised person.

Also, I may be a great enthusiast when it comes to perfume, but I freely admit that I still have problems classifying perfumes (although I'm slowly getting better). I'm thinking I might just arrange my perfumes by season, rather than perfume type. My perfumes are stored out of view of prying eyes (and the light) in sturdy storage drawers. They're not attractive to look at, but they keep my beautiful darlings safe from spoiling as much as possible. I think that is why when I joined this site and realised that I could submit my own photographs and have my own album, I've gone a little crazy taking photos! I love the way my perfumes look, but they never get admired unless I take the bottle out of the box in order to use it.

So this is a big thank you to the creators of this site as you have made it much more than just a forum, you have made it a home from home for my collection!

So please everyone, feel free to look through my photos, I shall be adding more and more I know I shall and to whet your appetites here are a couple I took today. Thank you!
