The Slightly Fruitier Stepbrother of Aventus
I must admit that I still haven't smelled the original Aventus to this day. Therefore, I only know dupes and twins.
I also know that there are different directions of Aventus.....
So far, I have preferred the fruitier variants over the mossy or smoky versions.
And Al Dur Maknoon is one of those fruity variants that I really like.
Everything has basically been said/written about the scent DNA of Aventus, but this one is actually really delicious.
I like the citrusy/pineapple aspect of the fragrance. Perfect for warm summer evenings.
As for the bottle......It is nicely simple and styled in an Arabic manner......fits!
I don't think there's much more to say.
I really like the perfume.
It's worth it if you just want a fruity and fresh scent.
Edit..
The quality of the bottle is really poor. Bad workmanship on the atomizer rim. It has broken into several pieces and the cap has lost its silver foil because the alcohol has more or less softened the cap.
What a shame, really.

Delicious scent....
Sooo......This is my 4th Jeanne Arthes perfume. And actually also the best together with the Colonial Club Signature. So from the Arthes scents that I know so far.
The Magnetic Power Night is a really pleasant going-out perfume.
Somehow it comes very close to Pure XS. I really like it.
The opening is nicely sweet....spicy.
But not disturbing or annoying. Rather mild and pleasant.
And the further development of the perfume remains nicely pleasant as well.
The perfume is not a H/S bomb, but it performs quite decently. I am definitely satisfied with it.
And not 10€ for 100ml is definitely great.
The bottle is not Oscar-worthy in design, but it's fine....
The perfume is definitely worth it.

Completely weird....
I received a 2ml sample directly from PdM yesterday (April 26).
I have to admit that I absolutely do not like the scent at all.
First.....The entire progression is very strange and weird. First fresh, then intensely sweet, and in the end just boring wood.
Second.....It smells too medicinal to me. I associate it with an ointment from the 80s.
And in the middle part, I suddenly had the kokorico from JPG in my nose....Somehow chocolatey.
That’s also the only plus point of the entire perfume.
The base is practically imperceptible, as inconspicuous as it is. Just boring.
Third.......It doesn’t last long either.
I sprayed 2 sprays on the back of my hand and 2 sprays in the crook of my arm.......Both were hardly noticeable after not even 30 minutes. No joke!!! Really true.
The top note was already gone after 10 minutes. From there, it just became sweet and woody.
I would never spend 200€ or whatever the perfume costs.
I really don’t understand why there is wood in fresh scents. I think it ruins every summer fragrance.
I, for one, am done with PdM or better said with niche perfumes in general.

The Musty Brother of the First Son.
I first smelled the original in the mid-90s, and I was shockingly in love. And that hasn’t changed to this day.
But what this
Profumo flanker is supposed to represent, I still don’t know.
I thought the Absolu would take the cake, but when I smelled the Profumo, it was the worst flanker for me.
Where do I start.....?
The actual freshness is completely gone in my opinion. Which I find very unfortunate. Instead, it has been made spicier... somehow mustier.
I don’t like it at all.
The conclusion is.....
I won’t be able to warm up to the Profumo.
I’d rather stick with the original or the new perfume.
