The savior!
Ganymede was recommended to me in a well-known Parisian perfumery. The first time I smelled it on the test strip, it left its competitors behind and I decided to wear it for a day before deciding to buy it.
The fragrance is difficult to describe. It starts off very bitter on the skin and can definitely be tiring for untested noses. After about 30-60 minutes, it subsides and smells very warm to me. I only detect leathery notes in the background. In the foreground is a fresh metallic lightness, accompanied by a smoky scent and a splash of tangerine. The woodiness rounds everything off. All in all, it smells incredibly high-quality - something you've never smelled before. The sillage and longevity are above average.
Almost two months have passed since I first wore it and I can count the days I haven't worn it on one hand. There is never a situation in which I find the Ganymede inappropriate. And so it has replaced my old signature fragrance - finally!
