The best of the Sauvage family
First thing first: I really-really hate the Sauvage EDT. Its a terrorizing, headache-making fragrance with way too much sillage. (Prada Luna Rossa Carbon is the ambrox-without-pain pick for me)

So its a really big thing from me, but its one of the best fragrances for me now. No terrorizing sillage, no headache, nothing negative to mention here. But there is a less fresh, but definately Sauvage DNA with much more spicyness, and a much more mature overall feeling. If Sauvage EDT is the problematic leather jacket guy in the back of the classrom in a high school, than Sauvage parfum is the same guy, but after a degree and 2-3 years of work :)

So if someone hate the Sauvage EDT, but looking for a not overpowering, everyday spicy fragrance-- then here we are.

Wow. Just WOW.
Some months ago I got a bottle Zadig&Voltaire: This Is Him! as a blindbuy and, maaaaan it was an instant love. A little later i realised there are some later releases from Zadig&Voltaire, so I tried the This is rock! too, and it was the same, and different at the same time. Its definetly the same dna, but with less sweetness and much more smokiness. WOW! If this fragrances are persons, the “This is Him! is a cool, leather jacket 25-30 badboy type guy, and “This is rock!” is the sams guy after 5-10 years.

Its really hard to desribe: Its a leather-jacket style fragrance too, but in a bit more mature way than the this is him!, so you can probably use easier with a dark suit, or something formal dress, but you smell much more younger than guy with a Tom Ford Noir

Say yes to no
Well, as my comment’s title - this fragrance is a bit confusing. As a tester, it was a dream for my taste: fresh, clean, spicy, soapy.. woah, its just wonderful!

As a bottle it was.. a bit different, because I used it on myself day after day.
Positives:
The frangrance is a real lady-pleaser, most of the women noticed the BLV and I got tons of compliments because of its freshness. The scent also really useful for office and daily use, so its really easy to use it.

Negatives:
Two times my colleagues got allergic reactions from the BLV (eye itching problems), and its not a small problem with a frangrance. The fragrance has an amazing top note, but a really borung soapy base note - and after hours of use you just probably realise there are tons of better picks than this one.

Nothing special, but in the good way
Its a simple, icy-fresh scent for the hot days. Sharp, really-really ice-cold, like a fresh shower. Not feels like a pricey one, but not a cheapo smell too. The longetivity is good, and the sillage is in the safe category: not too much, but its useable in the smallest offices without a y problems.

Short sum; Its a wonderful one for the price, if you just wanna smell great in the summer rithout robbing the bank; its for you.

The best scent for a 30’s guy with a leather jacket
Picked up as a random nighttime/winter scent. Well its much more than that. A bit spicy, a bit woody, a bit sweet, a bit dark, but not the old-man’s dark, much more like a bad guy in black farmer/shirt/leather jacket.

The greatness of the scent shows up in its versatility. When is warm, its much more a woody-spicy one with a bit elegance, but when its cold, its a bit more sweet. The projection is moderate; so its useable in office. The compliment factor is really-really high, and its described as a “really masculine, sexy scent”
