Rasasi Pour Lui vs. Creed Aventus - and the winner is...
For many, Rasasi's *Zebra* is considered one of the best dupes from Aventus. Time for a self-experiment with my skin & nose. Have fun with it:

DUFT L'Pour Lui (6/10) vs. "Aventus (Eau de Parfum) | Creed" (10/10):
The opening is very synthetic, smelly and takes a long time to find the molecules. In drydown ok, but worlds away from Aventus. First knockdown for Pour Lui - Round 1 goes to the champion Aventus.

SILLAGE Pour Lui (6/10) vs. Aventus (7/10):
Sillage is slightly stronger with Aventus - renewed precipitation in round 2.

DURABILITY Pour Lui (6/10) vs. Aventus (7/10):
The shelf life on my skin was Pour Lui at 4-6 hours. Aventus at about a good 6 hours.
0:3 Knockout for the champion Aventus and Pour Lui lies unconscious on the ground.

My recommendation:
Also, for the low price compared to Aventus, I would either go for another dupe ( "Club de Nuit Intense Man (Eau de Parfum) | Armaf" of "L'Aventure | Al Haramain / الحرمين" or just get a bottling.

P.S.: If you liked my review, I am very happy about your cup and / or a *helpful*.

L'Aventure vs. Creed Aventus (2017): And the winner is...
For many, L'Aventure by Al Haramain is considered one of the best dupes of Aventus. Time for a self-experiment with my skin & nose. Have fun with it:

DUFT L'Aventure (9/10) vs. "Aventus (Eau de Parfum) | Creed" (10/10):
Aventus is and remains the king. The opening is just so smooth, as the individual components blend perfectly with each other. L'Aventure is here but damn close and could smoothly pass as a flanker. Qualitatively from the opening to the end very high quality (batch of 2020).

SILLAGE L'Aventure (7/10) vs. Aventus (7/10):
The sillage is very similar to Aventus.

DURABILITY L'Aventure (8/10) vs. Aventus (7/10):
The durability on my skin was about 6-8 hrs and was even slightly better than Aventus with about 6 hrs.

My recommendation:
Get the L'Aventure, because this is very cheap to buy with 100ml on the Internet and the fragrance can be distinguished only by a few experts. Maybe he is a little more citrusy in place of pineapple, but no matter. Clear buy recommendation!

P.S.: If you like this review halt, I would be very happy about a cup and / or a *helpful*!

EDT vs. Eau de Parfum vs. Parfum - and the winner is...
In search of noble, woody fragrances I also stumbled across the Bleu de Chanel series, which have as a dominant ingredient a mix of sandalwood (warm, slightly almondy smell) and cedar (dark, slightly spicy). But which fragrance suits you and your intentions best? I will try to answer this question with a self-test. Have fun reading!

Fragrance "Bleu de Chanel (Eau de Toilette) | Chanel" (7/10) // "Bleu de Chanel (Eau de Parfum) | Chanel" (9/10) // "Bleu de Chanel Parfum | Chanel" (8/10):
The champ in the opening is clearly for me the EDT. This is by the grapefruit and the citrus notes simply the first half hour very fresh, but then loses momentum and becomes very quickly only woody and I then perceive almost exclusively only the wood and no longer fresh. The perfume, on the other hand, is less fresh, but more woody and mysterious from the beginning. Keeps but strangely longer the freshness, as the EDT (for my nose) ie here you get even after several hours a mix of freshness and wood, which I find very nice.
The all-rounder is for me the *Eau de Parfum* which finds just the right mix of freshness and wood and maintains that until the very end. The winner!

SILLAGE EDT (6/10) // Eau de Parfum (7/10) // Parfum (5/10):
None of the blues are really projection beasts, but the Eau de Parfum is clearly ahead of the pack and just seems to have more potency than its counterparts. The EDT is quite ok in the opening, but quickly loses power due to the pure woodiness - the perfume has too much woodiness and is therefore right from the start quite close to the body. Winner is the Eau de Parfum!

DURABILITY EDT (6/10) // Eau de Parfum (8/10) // Parfum (6/10):
The EDT is with me on the skin about 4-6 hours well perceptible as well as similar to the perfume. The Eau de Parfum is also here the clear winner with about 7-8 h. It seems as if the balanced freshness would carry the wood longer or mutually conditioned.

To the CONCLUSION - which one fragrance I recommend to you and why?
Generally, all three fragrances contain for me the similar DNA from the mix freshness & wood. My impression is that here simply between the flankers the individual components were increased or decreased. The most versatile fragrance of all for me is clearly the Eau de Parfum - since it is simply wearable at any time of year and day & occasion. It also has the best sillage and durability in the TEst. There can be only one OR?

P.S.: If you liked this review, I am of course happy about a cup and / or a *helpful*. Thank you!

ck One Shock vs. Pure Havane (comparison)
Through a souk I came across *ck one Shock* as an addition from another Parfumo. After this should have a similar fragrance DNA as the classic "A*Men Pure Havane | Mugler" * from Mugler, I took this as an opportunity to start a small comparison test. Here we go:

DUFT "A*Men Pure Havane | Mugler" (8/10) vs. "CK One Shock for Him | Calvin Klein" (7/10):
Both have at first smell a similar fragrance DNA, detached from the stated fragrance pyramid. Superficially, both scents smell like the delicious little cherry lollipops from my childhood - the ck one Shock more than the Havane. The opening of the Havane has a slightly herbaceous honey tobacco scent in the forefront and the Shock has cardamom. Cardamom basically goes into a blend of eucalyptus paired with a spicy-bitter undertone (here I got the spice specifically because I didn't know it myself). The Shock smells rather sweet-fresh cherry with slight synthetics, whereas the Cuban ranges in quality from slightly sweet cherry-honey tobacco - rather more serious. A bit taxing at first (because intense), the Havane evolves into a very pleasant tobacco scent in the drydown, played around with a bit of honey. Very nice. Winner here is eindeutigidg the Havane for me!

SILLAGE Pure Havane (8/10) vs. one Shock (7/10):
Tested side by side, the Cuban has easily the nose in front, although the Shock also projects well. From both you should not apply too much.

DURABILITY Pure Havane (9/10) vs. one Shock (7/10):
On my skin long hold both well so about 8 hrs at the Havane - the Shock 5-6 hours.

At what time should you wear the fragrances in my opinion?
The Havane because of the projection and durability rather in winter or cold autumn.
The Shock optionally autumn and / or winter.

For whom would I recommend the fragrances?
Since the tobacco comes through well with the Cuban, I imagine somehow a real guy with cigar in his mouth - age >30 years.
The Shock should be very well wearable even by teens or young adults, because the synthetic is sweet - is for me a pleasing party fragrance that smells like cherry lollipops.

Conclusion:
Is it worth buying the Pure Havane (about 80 €/100ml) when you can get the ck Shock for a fraction of the price (25 €/ 200ml)? From my point of view for real perfume lovers YES!
Reason is for me the more adult fragrance DNA (more tobacco, instead of synthetic cherry) as well as the ingenious, gentle drydown. However, who wants to have a kind of similar clone for the club, which gets hold of a real Cheapie for pocket money with the Shock!

Pure Havane vs. ck one Shock (comparison)
In search of a tobacco fragrance I came across this *Pure Havane* through some reviews. Likewise, I own the ck one Shock from Calvin Klein, which is equally traded among the Parfumos as a cheap alternative. Time for a self-test with my skin and nose :-)
