Just without much Blaaaaaaaa
I don't want to beat around the bush.......... I spray and feel really pudelwohl, as if little Sebastian has just made himself a delicious pudding with quite a lot of sauce.
For me one of the tastiest treats to spray....... Next to egg liqueur spray cream

A*Men Pure Havane or XJ 1861 Naxos
It is extremely regrettable that Pure Havane has been discontinued - that much up front. Because there is currently no other way to capture the basic theme of "honey" in a masculine fragrance somehow better. The olfactory impression of this pleasing fragrance is perfectly round. So is its progression: a perfect ball rolling down a glass slab. And it does so for many hours. Nothing bounces, nothing jumps, nothing rattles. You get a mildly vanilla, golden meadow honey resting on a semi-dry tobacco leaf, which in turn radiates mildly fine spice (not herbaceous, not herbal sap-like). The whole thing is wrapped in a covered honeycomb of honey wax, so that the very fine, herbaceous plant scents, which are inevitably picked up when collecting the pollen, are filtered away. Any presumed sticky sweetness also disappears through this neutral wax filter: only an idea of minimal caramel-like maltiness reaches the nose, supported by a dusting of cocoa. That's about it. Nothing floral, smoky, leathery. No powder.

The Xerjoff you can basically imagine for now also so. But it does not remain! In addition, an earthy-peaty fragrance chord joins. One thinks now and then to sniff out delicate leather of the softest luxury quality. Or even a trace of pine resin or young pine needles. Whereby this peaty strongly weakens the vanilla. The Xerjoff is thus noticeably more complex.

Is more complex now equal to better? Given one would take both fragrances lovingly, that much is certain. The Mugler awakens the association of a meadow honey-tobacco melancholy covered in a gossamer beeswax honeycomb. You smell that very honeycomb structure - that's the Pure Havane. The Xerjoff develops the theme further. One associates a wild bee just flying home to the hive, packed with forest honey, over a hazy peatland to deliver the precious cargo. One smells, so to speak, the flying insect, to which the scent impressions of the "workplace of nature" are additionally attached. The olfactory impression is thus greater, but also somehow more pungent in association. In the case of Naxos, the natural trappings are added on top of the Mugler honey, as an encore, so to speak. The fragrance space depicted in the Xerjoff is larger - more complex. The overall concept is different. The Mugler is the extracted result, the end of the chain. The Xerjoff is also the protocol of its creation. Moreover, its top note is much richer. The top note of the Xerjoff is actually really better!

I ultimately decided to purchase a bottle of Pure Havane. However, the probability of getting the 100 ml Mugler at a reasonable price (mid 50 euros) is minimal in autumn 2021. The Xerjoff, on the other hand, is freely available, a big plus. Both fragrances are great. Read somewhere here once: if you love the Mugler, you'll adore the Xerjoff. This is so true, as the Xerjoff tells the whole story, thus is more perfect in the sense of high definition. More creation telling. More pure, however, is the Havane - Pure Havane just as the name says!

Sweet Tobacco King
You will feel good with this fragrance!!!
Tobacco (the cherry honeyed moist tobacco type), honey, vanilla and cocoa were perfectly blended in the opening and heart notes. The perfume honeyed tobacco accord leaves a trail for a long drought that is tamed by amber and resins.
Just don't use it in hot weather, by the ocean, or at the gym. All other situations are allowed.
You will surely love this fragrance; Otherwise, there may be something wrong with your smell, and you will need a nose doctor.

- Very good for an evening with a book by the fireplace? - YES (also suitable for other not-so-unusual activities in front of the fireplace)
- Very good for any type of date? - YES (also for the kinky type of encounters)
- Very good for intimacy? - YES (be sure to wear it while kissing the love of your life)
- Very good for the office? - YES (your popularity will skyrocket)
- Very good for a fancy dinner or an evening out? - YES (you may even get a big discount)
- Are you going to get a lot of compliments? - YES (even your mother-in-law will love your scent)
- Very good for clubbing? - YES (you will be the king of the night)
- Everyone else will wear it? - NO (do not believe in everything I write)
In summary ... it is manly enough, enough gourmet, enough spicy ... enough said!

My reviews for this luscious and seductive cigar:
___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___
Opening: 10.0 (a damp tobacco gourmand pleasure; the ladies realize that it is very masculine)
Drying: 9.0 (not unique; seductively resinous, but very good with the sweet persistent tobacco)
Longevity: 8.5 (not beasty, but good enough for 9 hours with 3 sprays)
Silage: 8.0 (slightly above average, with a 6-foot radius and 3 sprays; will project for 2.5 hours)
Exclusivity: 8.5 (Other A*Men flankers, similarity to XJ 1861 Naxos and Insurrection II Wild do not justify taking out more than 1.5 points.)
Ease of use: 8.0 (avoid any type of hot weather)
Versatility: 9.0 (do not use it on the beach or the gym; do not use it if you want to meet your ex-wife, as you risk bringing her back!)
Praise: 9.0 (men and women react very positively and enthusiastically to this perfume)
Quality: 9.0 (excellent juice ingredients, but a shame for the inefficient sprayer)
Presentation: 8.0 (it uses the beautiful A*Men flanker bottle but with a "so so" presentation due to the very "plastic" brown colour of the bottle)
Price: 8.0 (at € 45 to € 50 minimum price, it had an above-average cost if compared with many other designers EDTs, although it may be considered quite original; however, it has been one of the cheapest A*Men flankers; Now it's discontinued and its price may reach God knows what value.)
___ ___ ___ ___ ___ ___
Overall rating: 8.64 / 10.00
between 7 and 8 => above average;
between 8 and 9 => recommended;
equal to or greater than 9 => don't miss it;

Opinion on "Pure Havane":
It is one of the current fragrance landmarks. It's the "everyone likes it" kind of scent (and many even love it). It can also be addicting. Once you buy it you will use it until the end of the flask.
Recommended? Yes! - Worthy of blind purchase? No! - Try it first.

A Mugler who knows how to inspire
Normally, most of the fragrances in Thierry Mugler's A*My range seem to have a touch of the original A*Men, at least in their base. First of all: Pure Havanne doesn't follow this line, but has a completely different character.

Yes, at the beginning after spraying A*Men is already very sweet. This honey tobacco note reminds me in its character of Paco Rabannes 1 Million Privé, where the note "Shisha tobacco" is listed. The top note of Pure Havanne is slightly sweeter and fruity, the top note of Privé is a bit spicier. Nevertheless I find the opening of both fragrances comparable. Additionally I perceive an ethereal note for a short time, which reminds me of sage. I also perceive something cherry-like in the first 3-5 minutes, which reminds me of cherry yoghurt of cherry ice cream. Really tasty with cherry pieces in it. After the cherry disappears, the tobacco becomes spicy-sweet and basically accompanies the smell until the end.

After a good half hour Pure Havanne gains a little bit of complexity, even if it has to be said that this pyramid of fragrances is quite simply constructed. Personally, I prefer it that way, too, as if the fragrances are overloaded with notes and merge into an indefinable mixture. Admittedly I can't sniff cocoa, but something earthy, which could be patchouli. Afterwards, however, the fragrance remains linear, long-lasting (7-8 hours) and soothing for the next few hours. In my opinion, the drydown is almost unisex, as long as the scent would have a little less smokiness.

All in all it is fun to smell it again and again, the Sillage is perceptible for a long time and radiates clearly outwards. Pure Havanne knows how to please especially in autumn and winter as a casual fragrance and is a great addition to any collection!

Of heroes and revolutionaries
Cuba - a communist island state steeped in history in the middle of the Caribbean.
Polarizing and fascinating at the same time.
Hated and loved by the elites of this world, Cuba has one thing above all else -
A unique charm!

This small country, hardly like any other, stands for revolution and resistance against a capitalist and opportunist America.
It stands for anti-capitalism in its purest form and has made history with the charismatic revolutionary leaders Ernesto Guevara and Fidel Castro.
Even if the revolution was successful, Cuba has still not been able to build a stable economy due to the subsequent embargo by the USA and many Western states.
Thus, despite the pride in its revolutionaries, Cuba has remained a poor country.

And despite the poverty they are rich in culinary delights.
The Cuban rum and cigars are considered the best in the world.
And I too have already had the pleasure
smoke a Cohiba while tasting an ancient Legendario on the terrace of a beautiful Hacienda in Vinales.
The smells that came to my nose when I smoked and drank and caressed my soft palate were allied with the tropical air of sweet tobacco fields and sugar cane plantations An absolute feel-good moment.

One day, when I accidentally tested a fragrance with the label Pure Havane without great expectations, I experienced a fantastic deja vu.
It was incomprehensible to me how someone could preserve the feelings of that time in a fragrance.
Pure Havane manages to reproduce this wonderful warm tobacco sweetness.
To me, Pure Havane smells like a mixture of fresh cigar smoke and ripe, sweet rum.
Masculine, warm and positive.
A fragrance that would have suited Ernest Hemmingway as well.

Should I one day travel back to Cuba, Pure Havane will definitely accompany me and tell my story.

Pure Havane is a sweet gourmand, addictive. The scent is linear but it's a perfect blend of moist tobacco with honey, cocoa and patchouli.

The type of scent that pleases the men who wear it and the lady that smells it. There is something magic about the honeyed tobacco note.

Overhyped. Pure tonka, Krypto and even the original A*men are way way better than this one
