Spicy - woody - balsamic
This fragrance has an incredible value for money.
It is made from ital art, outstanding in perfume making.
It starts with a lively burst of pepper and cinnamon. Cinnamon and nutmeg become more prominent throughout the fragrance.
A soft rose cedar combo is complemented by a light geranium in the mid.
Drydown is special. Imagine those old school balms at the barber mixes with sweet precious woods.
Super masculine spicy barbershop.

Oud - Pleaser
At the beginning I disliked this perfume, as for an inexperienced nose, it can come off as medicinal (dentist chair style disinfectant on rubber blue gloves)
The more I smelled the more I liked it, to the point of being my most worn scent - even signature!
Soft woods and sweet oud on top of all, hint of spices on the very background of the scents.
A pity it doesn't last long after reformulation, other than that a 10 out of 10 for the scent.

Citrus liqueur - sugar syrup
Is the combo I would tag on this perfume. Opens sweet citrusy and slightly peppery for the first 10 minutes, continues with the same attributes and a bit more balsamic after 1 hour or so.
Closes with a woody vanilla base that lingers for 4 hours at max on skin.
Slightly leaning on the feminine side, but dudes can rock this as well.

Fresh pepper / ambroxan combo
I have been using Sauvage regularly since its launch.
I am currently reviewing latest batch I possess, 1/05/2023.
Opening is what attracted me and made me accustomed to it. It's an in your face opening that hits you with pepper.
After good 30 mins, a sweet masculine lavender comes out slowly and dominates the fragrance, without loosing its peppery/ ambroxan nature.
In the drydown, mostly sour vetiver and a hint of soft patchouli alongside elemi resin.
It has been diluted over the years, which is a pity, but the good quality remains.
Recommend higher volumes for a better price per ml ratio.
Good projection for the 1st hour, sillage around 6hrs, better on clothes.

Best classic "aftershave" scent
Reminds me of those '80s power houses that even in the aftershave formula, could fill a room in seconds.
Fresh, dark, sophisticated.
Resins spice and lavender intricately swirl from opening to dry down.
Final notes smell like the most expensive lavender soap in circulation.
Nuclear projection. On clothes it lasts 3 days.
2 sprays are enough for any situation.
