Mum Lung
Deep-set florals make it seem like a minty curry upon first impressions. Bound by ouds and an abrasive coffee quality. Mum lung annunciates a culture of florals, rooted within Chinese tradition. Distant animalics, piquant almost.

Wouldn’t get a full bottle of this personally. Gosh it doesn’t last long.

Waxy malay oud, stringed with floral facets and a curdling citrus. Perpetual to say the least. Flavoured candle wax.

Rooted within Chinese inspirations. Translated to ‘divine land’ : it lives up to its expectations. Creamy orange, blended with ouds. I would like a bottle of this but wouldn’t go out of my way as such. Would love to try more of these Chinese inspired ones.

Apis Après
Amicably pensive. Such a tactful blend. There’s this aurate honey at the centre. It’s almost field like : supple yet raw. Such an accomplished scent.

Really enjoy the honey bee inspiration. It’s bittersweet, not sickly, nor bitter. It’s blended beautifully. I would like to get a full bottle of this.

Russian Musk II : pines, fruits and musk
I enjoyed this, bare in mind I was applying it and spilt it all over myself, it’s pungent stuff…
A radiant impression, Siberian fir present? Seems a little light for that. A testament to Russian naturals, RMII is composed of a coniferous, softened deer musk, a lavish chypre, manly stuff :) It begins with a gushing citrus complimentary, a presiding tangerine. It changes slightly, into a maintained, much more maintained grainy perfume, consisting of its tamed musk as the dominant.
its manly lavishness, ‘foresty’

Al Majmua : iris chypre
Bitter vetiver and iris : a pestering blackcurrant, unpleasant to my nose. Earthy due to the vetiver and iris, juicy also (but not in a good way) chypre maintained during the dry down. A pinch of lemon, conflicting the blackcurrant. I don’t like it but I see why some do…
Makes me feel like an old Parisian lady rolling in dirt. Blackcurrants getting squashed in her pockets and sprouted herbs around her.
