out on the wily windy moors......
this fragrance is really nice, opens with those fougere/floral notes really strongly- mostly i get an herbaceous lavender and i can just barely smell the jasmine underneath. as time goes on those notes disappear and i'm left with a creamy vanilla that is totally addictive. i really like this one! i also feel like even though the notes are pretty feminine, the musk and oakmoss notes ground it and make it more unisex.

My faaaaavorite
When I first got this, it was in the little $15 set of samples. I used it all up in october/november and just now got a full size bottle, and I'm sure it's a different experience in the spring than in the fall. however, I feel like this scent would work well in any season (except maybe winter, I can't imagine wearing it in winter for whatever reason) and on any occasion. In the fall, it feels like a memory of spring- an olfactory scrapbook of cake and lemonade, a time when flowers were blooming instead of dying.
I mention cake and lemonade specifically because that's what I smell when I smell this fragrance. I agree with everyone saying that they don't get lavender.
I feel that it's a bad idea to blind buy this, but also that it's very easy to test this fragrance as it's sold at places like target and ulta. it's very pretty- powdered sugar, lemonade, cake, and after a few hours it's a creamy vanilla-y smell. very similar to silver moon (although this could be based solely on vibes) but with a more fruity opening. it might not appeal to the manliest of men as the notes aren't quite as unisex as the box suggests, but i lean toward the gentler, sweeter scents so this one's right up my alley.
