Wow - what more can I say! I have searched for a long time, over many years, for a feel-good fragrance that suits me, my taste for dark, long-lasting, yet sweet and dry scents that smell to me like "just good".
I have tried so many, something always bothered me; for example, I was very close to my ideal with
Sillage, but now I know, after discovering
Infusion Velours Eau de Parfum, what has always slightly bothered me about Sillage:
I simply don't like vanilla as a fragrance note very much, and I can clearly smell this vanilla in Sillage. This makes it seem much more feminine to me than my favorite, which delights me with dark berries and a wonderful leathery oud accord.
