Once upon a time, in a fragrant house far, far away..
...
Hmm... why do I have the feeling that half of my readers have already left? Argh, you thought I was talking about Star Wars because the beginning of my text sounded like that, noooo you're stupid!!! How about reading a few lines further? But nooooo, tsss...
Alright, I'll carry on anyway :D
So, yes, I'm a Star Wars fan who's really into the series right now instead of the movies and... OKAAAAY, I'm already getting to the scent, my goodness...! Alright, so I tried the Alien Goddess by Mugler the other day and... oh did you know that there are a lot of aliens running around in Star Wars? Just by the way... :D
Pffft... but of course you're only interested in the scent again. How can you be so freakish and obsessed with fragrances that you even want to READ about perfumes? And then you call me a freak because I like movies in which some guys fight over who is better with their lightsaber... and no, that wasn't meant to sound ambiguous, whew!
Soo,... if you're thinking you're having déjà vu about the scent, let me reassure you: I've actually described the Alien Goddess here before, though that was a long time ago in a far, far away,... argh I just can't let it go. No, but I described the fragrance a long time ago, but firstly, this was the Intense version of Alien Goddess and secondly, my text was removed due to "inappropriate language", tsss.... I probably called you ladies beasts one too many times or something, he he :D
Yes, the text for Alien Goddess Intense is in progress again and I hope that it will stay this time when I publish it again at some point, but for now you know that I've already talked about Alien Goddess here and that I really liked the fragrance! My rating for the Intense at the time was 8.5 points. I find the "normal" Goddess here slightly weaker, but still beautiful, even if there is something about it that bothers me a little.
Apart from that, there is a large portion of vanilla and cashmere wood, especially in the base, which makes the fragrance radiate sweetness for a long time and which is also nice to perceive. In the later base, however, the fragrance becomes slightly sultry or almost too opulent, which bothers me a little, but of course it's not really bad. But I would still have preferred it if this hadn't been part of an alien fragrance :D
All in all, it's still a beautiful fragrance that you (or rather a woman) should try, but probably never will... *sigh*
Once again, the longevity is just under 10 hours, many times longer on clothing.
But well, let's get back to the scent. I also think Alien Goddess is a good fragrance in itself, but for me it has a small, annoying note that is particularly noticeable in the later base: it's an opulent, sultry fragrance that almost smells stuffy, like some heavy floral fragrances. And that's something I've never particularly liked. Well, it's not as bad as the other fragrances, of course, and it gets better a little later, but it still leaves a certain aftertaste, so although I like this alien, I wouldn't classify it as one of the best aliens. I would rather recommend the Goddess Intense. The Alien Goddess Supra Florale has also been available since last year, but I haven't been able to test it yet, so I don't know what it's like.
In any case, this opulent touch makes the fragrance smell a little different to the usual Alien fragrance, more floral and so on, so maybe you could take a look here? Or would you?
Go on, why don't you test it too, argh, maybe the fragrance won't even be around tomorrow, after all it's from 2021 and very few flankers stay on the market for years, if at all! I tried for years to convince everyone here of Alien Fusion, which for me is one of the best aliens ever and what happened? The fragrance no longer exists!!!
Yes, I know I'm trying my hardest to get you to try the Alien fragrances, but I think your stubborn stupidity will win out in the end and you'll miss out on flanker after flanker of this great range! *sigh* :D Then just go and spray on abominations like Black Orchid by Tom Ford, ufffff!!!!
No wonder I talk so much about Star Wars here... he he :D
Well, if anyone wants to use the fragrance, the best time to test it is not now, when it's very hot, but rather, as is usual with most aliens, at the beginning of fall, as the fragrance is quite heavy!
Well, and with that I'm done with another fragrance review and yes, have a nice evening, watch Star Wars or something and see you next time :))

The fragrance:
The fragrance starts fresh for a short time with citrusy notes, but you can also quickly recognize the typical Alien DNA, even if it is not as intense as in the original fragrance. You can smell a floral sweetness that comes from the jasmine. The heliotrope also gives the fragrance an almond-like scent, which is very nice and which is not present in the original Alien EDT (or EDP). All in all, it's still a beautiful fragrance that you (or rather a woman) should try, but probably never will... *sigh*
The sillage and the longevity:
The sillage is strong, as with most Alien fragrances, so you shouldn't overdo it with the dosage here, because you will definitely be noticed if you wear the fragrance. Once again, the longevity is just under 10 hours, many times longer on clothing.
The bottle:
The bottle has never changed, it still looks futuristic, almost like a kind of spaceship, but the color of the bottle is different, as with every flanker. This time we have a bottle with a golden color gradient, otherwise you can see the typical, well-made golden accents. The spray head is crystal clear and there is no lid. A very beautiful bottle that also sits well in the hand. Conclusion:
puff ... puff ... No, I'm not exactly out of breath, that's more like Darth Vader puffing! I mean, I'm sure you've all left by now anyway because I've mentioned Star Wars several times here, so I might as well fill the rest of my text with Star Wars... argh! But well, let's get back to the scent. Cracked beasts don't bite pears!
Hi folks, I'm here again to do my mischief. Ha ha, of course not. But I have tried the latest Alien fragrance from Mugler, because as someone who is quite fond of this fragrance range for women, I of course had to try the fragrance from this year (i.e. 2024) in order to try again to convince you perfumas that the Alien fragrances smell really great. Of course, I won't be able to get you to try this Alien again, because you all have something against this fragrance range. So you women aren't just beastly beasts, you're also nasty! Beastly beasts because you don't want to try the most amazing fragrances, but otherwise fog yourselves up with oppressive scents and immediately come running with pitchforks if someone doesn't like your scent, bah! :D
Anyway, this alien is called Hypersense. As always, it took me a little longer to be able to test the fragrance on myself because I still feel a bit stupid, at least with certain fragrances, when I want to spray on a women's fragrance in a store, especially among lots of women. So I had to wait and wait until there was no one else in the aisle and then, poof, I could grab the fragrance and quickly spray it all over my arm. Of course, I always make the mistake of completely forgetting how extremely strong the Alien fragrances are and that I still have a long way home on public transport. Plus it's over 25 degrees and there are a lot more people out and about than usual (also because of the warm weather)... and I don't want anyone to notice that I smell like sweet cotton candy or something, argh!
But you learn: That is, back out of the store I run after young women (or stand very close to them) so that anyone walking past me and noticing the scent then tends to think that this sweet smell must be 99% from the girls! Ha ha, I'm a genius...! But then the girls probably think I'm somehow creepy because I'm silently following them around... argh! Yes yes, my women problems just won't stop, but let's get to the scent :D
By and large, this was already the main part of the fragrance, as it smells like the well-known Alien in general, but this time a little more fruity due to the pears. As the fragrance progresses, this does not change any further, except that the fragrance becomes a little softer and therefore smoother over time and simply exudes a pleasant scent. Yes, this fragrance is also well worth testing, but no.... tsssss.... d
The longevity is also enormous, so that depending on the dosage, it can easily last 8-12 hours, and even many times longer on clothing!
But the fragrance simply exudes a very nice, feminine aura that you like to smell on women, especially when going out, for which this fragrance is particularly suitable.
The same applies here as I have already written for most aliens: I think this fragrance makes the ladies look particularly delicious, so to bite into, because it has such a sexy aura. Of course, you shouldn't overdo it when spraying it on, as the fragrance is very strong and can have the opposite effect if you overdose heavily: Namely oppressive, especially on very warm days.
Due to its enormous strength, this Alien has therefore become more of a fragrance for fall and winter, even if the pear initially seems summery with its fruity touch. Well, maybe you can also use it on not too hot spring days and maybe even summer days if you don't overdo it with the dosage, but on really warm days this fragrance will probably also be a bit heavy.
So, now I've described you ladies as sexy, delicious, sweet, great, hot and I don't know what else. Would you like to try this fragrance now?
No??? Well, then I'll just stick to nasty beasts... well, you've had your chance, mu ha ha ha ha :DDD
That's it from me again. Have a nice evening everyone, see you next time :)

Yes yes, my women problems just won't stop, but let's get to the scent :D
The fragrance:
The fragrance immediately starts off very sweet with the typical jasmine alien aura that you know (well, I'm sure you crazy perfumas don't know it because you never test aliens.... Uff....). There is also a large portion of pears, which may come across as a little summery and fresh, but the fragrance still has a rather strong, sweet and therefore more of a wintery aura. By and large, this was already the main part of the fragrance, as it smells like the well-known Alien in general, but this time a little more fruity due to the pears. Yes, this fragrance is also well worth testing, but no.... tsssss.... d
The sillage and the longevity:
The sillage is extremely strong. Of course, I sprayed myself much more intensely than I would normally apply a fragrance for testing purposes, but I am sure that you can smell this fragrance on you for a while. The longevity is also enormous, so that depending on the dosage, it can easily last 8-12 hours, and even many times longer on clothing!
The bottle:
Nothing has changed in the bottle, so you still have the futuristic and somewhat spaceship-looking bottle with golden accents, which is bright purple this time. Despite the bright color, it might be easy to confuse the fragrance with the normal EDP or the EDT, as these original fragrances also have a purple hue. Be that as it may, there is also no label to be seen, instead the brand of the fragrance is written on the front of the bottle. The name of the fragrance is nowhere to be found, unless you look at the label on the underside, where the batch code etc. is also written. As always, I think the Mugler bottle is quite successful. Conclusion:
Soo... I quite liked the fragrance. Yes yes, like most aliens, I know :DBut the fragrance simply exudes a very nice, feminine aura that you like to smell on women, especially when going out, for which this fragrance is particularly suitable.
The same applies here as I have already written for most aliens: I think this fragrance makes the ladies look particularly delicious, so to bite into, because it has such a sexy aura. As always, first find out whether gardenias are flowers or curtains :D
Hello and welcome to a new fragrance review from me. Today I once again had a cologne from the Turkish manufacturer Eyüb Sabri Tuncer under my nose, which came from a friend's sample pack :)
Well, I actually tested the fragrance a long time ago, when it was even warmer at the beginning of April than it is now :D
Anyway, it's the fragrance "Kolonya Gardenya", which is probably about gardenias. Which, as always, puts me in a situation where I have no idea about the subject matter. I write this all the time, but I really should teach myself some basic knowledge about flowers. I had a scent with gardenias under my nose some time ago and what did I learn from it? NOTHING! :D I even have to look up what gardenias look like again, off the top of my head I don't even have a clue what color the flowers are. I'm guessing white! A quick look at Google image search confirms this at least, uff, at least I could remember the color, he he. Otherwise, I'll continue to confuse the flowers with curtains... :D
Be that as it may, colognes will soon become more important again, as after the cold April and especially the rainy start to May, it's sure to get much warmer soon. And many colognes are particularly good for a quick refreshment in between, so let's see how this one is!
Over time, the citrusy notes disappear completely, but the fragrance remains floral, with the roses becoming stronger. However, the sweet fragrance notes become even stronger, especially amber and some musk, making the fragrance quite sweet.
As expected, the citrusy notes have of course completely disappeared in the base, and the floral notes are now noticeably weaker, as amber and musk now dominate. Nevertheless, the base is perceived as floral-sweet, which in my opinion makes the fragrance more feminine rather than unisex.
All in all, a nice fragrance that is okay, but not outstanding.
At least this applies to most colognes, and it's no different here. However, there are far weaker colognes. This one at least smells good up close for a while. However, the fragrance quickly fades so that I could hardly smell anything after three hours, at least on my skin.
So anyone who is looking for a nice, not heavy floral and sweet fragrance for leisure or work that is not particularly expensive can take a look here. You just shouldn't expect too much, it's basically just a cologne that smells nice, but is nothing that hasn't been there before. I would therefore recommend something else for going out.
Well... that's it then. Unfortunately, I still don't know what gardenias smell like now, as everything was mixed here too and I could smell more amber. But maybe I'll have finally improved my knowledge of flowers by the time the next gardenia fragrance comes out... but I wouldn't bet on it! :DD
I hope you all have a nice evening, see you next time then!

The fragrance:
As usual, the fragrance starts fresh with lemons (or bergamots) and is therefore reminiscent of normal, typical colognes. Then light, floral notes are added, which are certainly the gardenias (I'm just guessing, because as I said, I don't know anything about flowers :D). There's also a little rose (yes, I actually recognize that :DD) and very light carnations (hey, I'm familiar with those too :D). In the background, the scent is slightly sweet, the sweetness is reminiscent of amber (which it probably is, since amber is actually listed).
The sillage and the longevity:
You probably know the formula: Cologne = weak sillage + weak longevity! At least this applies to most colognes, and it's no different here. However, there are far weaker colognes. This one at least smells good up close for a while. However, the fragrance quickly fades so that I could hardly smell anything after three hours, at least on my skin.
The bottle:
As Eyüb Sabri Tuncer Colognes are also sold in very large bottles, there are both plastic and glass bottles. The large ones are usually made of plastic and are only intended to be offered in sufficient quantities to guests, for example. However, I am describing the nicer glass bottles here, which have a classic cologne design. The bottle is cylindrical with lots of grooves, and there is a recess on which a label with beautiful gardenia drawings has been attached, which also shows the name and brand. The lid is chrome-plated and ends in a dome. It's quite nice, especially for the low price. Conclusion:
Soo, so this cologne turned out much better than the last one I tried, which was Paris Night. This one is fresh at first and then becomes increasingly sweet and floral. It doesn't get any heavier, so it's still good for spring and summer, but I think it smells very feminine like a normal, nice women's fragrance instead of being unisex.

I am the king!
Hi guys, here I am again with a new fragrance review. As for my title: don't worry, I don't think I'm a king and... unbelievable that I actually have to mention this... I'm not Elvis, who's still alive!!! :D Yes, crazy conspiracy theorists believe in everything (or rather believe in nothing that the media or news say) and still assume that Elvis is alive, or that the world is a disc, or that aliens are already living among us (that's not true at all, in fact fire-breathing dragons disguised as women are living among us... he he he) or that perfumes are addictive... well, the last one might be true, if I look at some of the perfumers (or Parfumo) here :D
Be that as it may, my title actually only alludes to the lid of this fragrance, but more on that later. So I tried the fragrance "K" (EDT) by Dolce & Gabbana, as I hadn't tested anything from this brand for a long time and I just noticed the lid (I tested the fragrance in the store).
Well, after the guy next to me had literally stormed out of the store after a long back and forth because he had tried to take one or two flankers of the One Million fragrances (he didn't make it, but still managed to escape before the sales clerks could stop him), I was able to try the fragrance in peace after a little commotion from the sales clerks there. ... So really, One Million, yes, I'm really not a fan of these fragrances, if I were a shoplifter, I would have taken Dior Homme Intense or something like that, which was also on the shelf in front of me :D
So then, here's my impression of the fragrance!
As the fragrance progresses, you can detect the specified scents such as sage and lavender, but only if you sniff the sprayed area extensively.
The fragrance does have a slight synthetic quality, but at least in the middle section this is not disturbing.
As the fragrance progresses, most of the notes seem to fade quite quickly, so that the cedar is the most noticeable. With the aforementioned synthetics, it comes across a little like a shower gel with a cedar scent, which is okay and nice, but the fragrance simply has nothing more to offer in the base and thus remains like an 0815 average fragrance without any strengths.
Sure, there are enough fragrances that perhaps only smell of a single or at most two fragrance notes, but it's still the case here that it wouldn't be a fragrance that smells extraordinary with its single fragrance note, but rather smells like thousands of other fragrances.
In my opinion, it simply has nothing outstanding, nothing that you want to have in your nose again and again, it has nothing extraordinary at all. It simply lacks the so-called "wow!" effect that makes you want to have it. Only the top note is perhaps briefly reminiscent of chewing gum brands, but even then you only think "ah, that sounds familiar" for a moment at most before this impression disappears again.
This is all a shame, as it makes the fragrance completely irrelevant and boring. Sure, you can of course use it as a simple office fragrance at any time of year, as cedar smells nice and the scent still comes across as subtle rather than overwhelming everyone around you, but that's all there is to it for me.
If you still want to test it, you are welcome to do so, you should at least have a look at the crown (i.e. the lid of the bottle) :)
And that's it from me again. I wish you all a nice evening, see you next time :)

So then, here's my impression of the fragrance!
The fragrance:
For me, the fragrance starts off like chewing gum... I'm not entirely sure, but it reminded me a little of those great Big Red chewing gums, which are unfortunately no longer available. There isn't even any cinnamon in the fragrance, but maybe that was just my first impression. Be that as it may, in addition to citrusy scents that can't really be determined, you can smell juniper and cedar, which is a nice combination. As the fragrance progresses, you can detect the specified scents such as sage and lavender, but only if you sniff the sprayed area extensively.

The sillage and the longevity:
The sillage is average, making it less suitable for going out and more suitable as a subtle everyday fragrance. The longevity is also rather short at around 4-5 hours. The bottle:
The bottle is rectangular with a thick glass base and is filled with a light, navy blue fragrance liquid. There is no label, instead the name and brand name is printed directly on the front of the bottle. So far everything is (boringly) normal, if it weren't for the interesting lid, which was designed after a royal crown and is also very detailed with all the decorations and gemstone allusions and such. I find this very interesting and I really like it, in my opinion it enhances the bottle enormously. Conclusion:
Yes, I didn't really like the fragrance. Sure, the cedarwood scent is great, as cedar generally smells great, but that's actually all this fragrance has to offer here, as you can't really smell anything else after the top note.
Acqua di Giò smells like... Acqua di Giò?
Hi guys, I tried an Acqua di Giò from Armani again after a long time, the Profundo, which was released in 2020. Although there is now the 2024 version of this flanker, they still had the 2020 in the store. And I was still lucky because it was the only fragrance from this range in the store that still had the spray head on it...!!!! I mean, I understand it when the testers are used up super quickly, especially for fragrances like this, because I've been watching people spray themselves with it from top to bottom (and then vice versa from bottom to top :D) for years... instead of testing it normally, but well, I can still live with that. But then to completely separate the spray heads from the bottle is beyond stupid, I mean why the hell would you do that? And even with bottles that are still full??? Or are they only broken because someone might have dropped it... almost every bottle in the whole store? Over and over again until they've all fallen off? :D
That's honestly hard to believe, I think people did it on purpose, for whatever reason. Or at least by handling them too roughly, because the testers don't belong to them and so people think they can handle them however they want...
I'm not normally one of those people who tell everyone in a clichéd way that humanity is now going stupid at an abnormal level... but humanity is going stupid at an abnormal level!!! :DDDD
Because I don't think everyone has suddenly become extremely clumsy, have they?
But well, let's get back to the fragrance. I tried the fragrance here because I had actually had good experiences with this range in the past. Of course, there have always been outliers that smelled like nothing or were dripping with synthetics, but for the most part, there have been quite usable to pretty good fragrances among these perfumes. The Profundo here has convinced me for a long time, as it reminded me of the great Acqua di Giò Essenza, which was my favorite fragrance from the series.
The fragrance is rather less sweet, at least at the beginning. This changes a little towards the base, when the musk and amber become a little stronger. Nevertheless, the fragrance remains citrusy and herbaceous for most of the time and gives off a great scent.
In the drydown, i.e. the very late base, the fragrance basically smells the same, but is only slightly sweet. The citrusy scents are then almost completely gone, of course, but you can still smell a nice hint of rosemary with gentle, soft notes in the background. Incidentally, the drydown is quite close to the body.
For me, this fragrance is clearly a summer scent that perhaps doesn't stand out so much among many other fragrances, but I think it smells nice enough to try. You can use it mainly as a daily companion, whether for work or leisure, somehow it always works. You should only choose a more long-lasting fragrance if you're going to a party or something :)
Well, that's my opinion on Profundo (2020). I hope the 2024 version smells just as good! If I ever get to test it... because stupid people keep ruining the testers, argh!!!! They should really hire people in the stores to look after the testers, you could call them tester guards or something, he he!
Well then, that's it from me again, have a nice evening :)

The fragrance:
Basically, the fragrance starts the same way I remember Essenza: It's citrusy fresh, and the citrusy scents also smell tangy in the process, which is especially good on hot days. You can smell the bergamot well, but you can smell the great mandarin even better. Only a little later, a fragrance note is added that I particularly like in summer with citrusy-fresh fragrances, namely herbs. In this case, it's rosemary, which not only smells good and is easily recognizable, but also goes incredibly well with the mandarins. All of this is not only refreshing, but simply wonderfully summery. The fragrance is rather less sweet, at least at the beginning. This changes a little towards the base, when the musk and amber become a little stronger. Nevertheless, the fragrance remains citrusy and herbaceous for most of the time and gives off a great scent.

The sillage and the longevity:
The radiance is quite okay at the beginning, but in my opinion it fades a little too quickly, but is still in the "okay" range. The longevity is also more average, as with almost every fragrance in this range, and I would say that it lasts 3-5 hours depending on the dosage. The bottle:
Absolutely nothing has changed in the bottle for years, except of course the color of the bottle. We still have the handy bottle, which is rectangular but slightly rounded, has a thick glass base and no label on the front, so the name is printed directly on the bottle. The color of this bottle is dark blue without a color gradient. The neck of the bottle is chrome-plated and on top of it sits the blue, cylindrical lid, which is not magnetic (I could swear that my Essenza had a magnetic lid many years ago, couldn't I?...). In any case, a beautiful bottle that sits well in the hand. Conclusion:
Admittedly, this fragrance certainly doesn't reinvent the wheel, but it does go back to the roots a little (at least to Essenza or Profumo). The actual original, which is "only" called Acqua di Giò, smells slightly different. For example, the herbs are less strong and the top note is also slightly different), which surprised me positively. I also like the fact that the fragrance is not as intensely synthetic as I had expected, which enhances the fragrance for me. Of course, there is a certain synthetic quality, especially towards the end, but it's not as disturbing as, for example, the rather bad Acqua di Giò Absolu from 2018.
