After 5 minutes I can't smell anything

A sweet fragrance that reminds me of a dentist's office where a little bit of gasoline was spilled. I personally smell cotton candy less.
The stopwatch says 3:12 minutes when I slowly start to feel how the scent dissipates and becomes lighter. At minute 4:42, my nose only perceives a hint of what was there.
When I wore it a few weeks ago, it was similar. Applied and poof, no longer perceptible. However, you shouldn't underestimate the feeling this fragrance gives you: pure self-confidence and heads turn in your direction.
Just because of the effect on the surroundings, I'm considering getting this fragrance.

Unbearable Top Note, Pleasant Development

Now that I have your attention with the lovely headline, I would like to briefly state my defense.
I know that many people love this fragrance, but unfortunately, I do not fall into that category.
I have tried it twice so far, and both times it literally made me feel nauseous. The moment I applied it and smelled it, I knew: it has to go. And immediately. So I took a wet wipe and rubbed like crazy. It wouldn’t come off, hence the good longevity in the review. Admittedly, I must mention that after rubbing with the wipe, it actually smelled pleasant.
I actually considered wearing it because of the pleasant development.
For this scent, I will endure the hell of the first impression, but not for myself! The second time was exactly the same drama. Luckily, I took a bath afterward and tried to wash it off. Unfortunately, it is very long-lasting.
Maybe it’s my skin chemistry, who knows..

I find the top note terrible; that said, I am also not a fan of citrus scents and especially not of bergamot! For me, it is unbearable in the first few minutes.
