Soft well rounded scent
There's absolutely nothing offensive about Eclaire. It's a soft creamy vanilla with caramel and is a bit powdery. I feel like it doesn't have a strong sillage but it could just be that the fragrance isn't particularly loud and in your face. The opening comes across a bit alcoholic but it actually works with the fragrance, kind of like that tiny alcoholic hit when you have tiramisu.
Classy, spicy and yet soft
EDM is a really pleasant fragrance. It is comfy and cosy to my nose.
It begins quite fresh with some citrus and pepper notes. The combination is quite unique and I rarely ever smell anything like EDM in the wild. I would be careful about overspraying because the pepper note can be irritating to the nose but this has only happened once in my 3 years of owning the fragrance.
The fragrance mellows to have this rich amber quality to it and beyond this I don't really know how to describe individual notes that I'm smelling, it just smells like EDM, it smells clean, it smells a bit sweet and it smells warm.
I think this fragrance is good to use all year round, I think it has decent sillage and longevity. Overall it's still one of my favourite fragrances. My biggest grievance is with the bottle; it's beautiful but the shape makes it really difficult to hold and spray with one hand (100mL bottle).
Weird sharp note in the opening
I have heard that Lattafa fragrances need some time to mature. With that in mind, my bottle only arrived a week ago. I'll update this if the fragrance changes as it matures but I currently don't really like the way this smells.
Honor and Glory is hyped a lot on social media. I blind bought it thinking that I'd be getting a full bodied cosy vanilla fragrance with some fruity elements to it. Unfortunately the pineapple note mixed with something else, perhaps the tumeric and pepper comes off as quite sharp in the opening. I've noticed that this unpleasant interaction is more prominant the more concentrated the fragrance is i.e. the closer I spray it to my skin.
If sprayed some distance away from my skin, the fruitiness of the pineapple is a lot more prominant. After awhile, the pineapple seems to go away, leaving the vanilla, spices and sandalwood.
Overall, I'm not a huge fan of this particularly because of the unpleasant sharpness of the opening.
