Dior Addict is an absolute favorite fragrance of my best friend.
I once asked her which fragrance she would like as a gift... OK, Dior, I thought, it’s probably a boring mainstream scent.
Bought, gifted, and briefly tested on her, no impression, scent like many others...
Two years later, I bought her the fragrance again :), she was very happy and I just wondered what she finds in this scent.
She doesn’t have many fragrances, I have the perfumes, a scent snob.
At some point, I got another sample and sprayed the fragrance on my wrist... so beautiful, soft, powdery.
A jasmine cloud, vanilla, softly enveloping, soothing.
Very long-lasting, my sweater still smelled the next day. How could I not notice it?

The scent is somewhat monothematic, but beautiful, a new love.

A clean, cool, and very balanced fragrance. Not a rebel, rather reserved...
The bergamot and orange feel refreshing to me, then a delicate tea scent comes in and I find myself in a flower-adorned Asian tea house.
Very light fragrance components, elegant and fleeting, yet still long-lasting.
My new discovery for this summer.

I can't remember how I came to this fragrance...ordered it blind.
It is a wonderful, sweet, but not cheap sweet, vanilla...I can hardly perceive lemon, but it is a wonderful composition and it makes me crave more!
It's hard to say what this feeling is, a longing for love and warmth?
It is definitely a feel-good scent, soft, calm, elegant, and somewhat monothematic, but something special.

Datura Noir was one of my first niche fragrances, it's probably about 12-15 years ago.
I always found it great, something for a warm summer day, enchanting, warm, almost sultry.
After many years, I reached for the fragrance again in the last hot days, how wonderful!
The scent envelops me in a delicate floral cloud, lots of coconut and tonka, osmanthus, and this wonderful angel's trumpet. For me, a fragrance can never be too much, I am not a good fragrance wearer, so I can be generous here.
Why do I keep searching for and buying new fragrances? I already have such treasures like Datura Noir, I will wear it very often now. I promise!

A few years ago, I received a decant of Coromandel.
I was very excited, curious, and took a sniff.
Rotten leaves in a damp forest. Very strange. Then comes rose, jasmine, something soft and also something fresh that I can't quite name.
I can't decide if I really like the scent; it is so different from all my favorites.
After a few years (!) I get a small sample of the fragrance and I am delighted! What a noble scent, I now perceive flowers, citrus notes, roses, and indeed the forest, damp earth, humid air.
Where have the rotten leaves gone?
I fall in love.
For Christmas, I receive a beautiful package from Chanel, containing Coromandel, and the love remains.
My absolute favorite, elegant, strong, and original, not sweet, not floral, not light, rather heavy, and it stays true, develops beautifully, and reminds me of itself again and again.
I have already received many compliments from people who never say anything so "private" to me...Lady ....., you smell good! :)
