Balanced Sunscreen
A beautiful sunscreen scent with great longevity. To be honest, I find it a bit expensive and not that special. BUT: I love fragrances of this kind and have been searching for the right one for a long time. Many are too sweet. Or hardly last. Or are too artificial. Or give me headaches. This scent is simply superb for me. Light, uncomplicated, and still noticeable until the next day. I also like the fresh start with the lime. I’m looking forward to summer.

Memories of Oman: Muscat
The Oman series by Une Nuit Nomade is my favorite. As I described in my review of "Une Nuit à Oman - Jardins de Misfah | Une Nuit Nomade," I traveled to Oman a few years ago and have fallen in love with the country.

The capital Muscat is very bright and luxurious: white, imposing buildings, marble, stone sculptures. On the main streets along the promenade, everything is so clean, neat, and precisely laid out that it almost seems surreal. As you delve deeper into the alleys and markets, you can sense the sweetness of dates and many spices.

The scent perfectly reflects the impressions I had during my visit to this city: subtle, bright, spicy, slightly sweet, luxurious. It does not clash but is still special. I think of a light linen cloth or robe that has dried outside on a roof in the warm sun.

If I could wish for one change for this fragrance, it would be better longevity. The sillage is also subtle, but I find that fitting for this type of scent.

Memories of a Journey
The Oman series by Une Nuit Nomade is my favorite. Probably also because I traveled to Oman a few years ago and have taken the country to my heart.

The place Misfah, with its date palms in the otherwise rather barren mountainous landscape, is beautiful. And also interesting, with its many stairs, planted terraces, and intricate irrigation channels.

But back to the scent. The opening is intense. The date is very present, just like in Oman itself. Complementing it are the fresh roses and some spices, which hold back a bit. I think of one of the many date sellers who surely have at least ten different varieties on offer and enjoy drinking spiced tea with their customers. Tahini or sometimes almond paste is often served with the dates. After a while, the scent becomes a bit softer and gentler.

Normally, I don't like particularly sweet fragrances; they often trigger migraines for me. But with the rather fresh rose, this scent is different.

Spring is here!
This fragrance symbolizes for me a fresh flower meadow, lovingly planted with special flower varieties. On a warmer spring day, the blossoms spread their scent. A few hours ago, there was a fresh rain shower, and the remaining water forms small pearls on the flowers that sparkle in the sun. A few weeks are still needed until the heat of midsummer.

Winter & Autumn
At first, the scent feels a bit unfamiliar to me. I can't quite say why. However, the doubts disappeared after 20 minutes and I feel very comfortable. A very balanced and elegant blend. Not too intrusive. Works for me in the colder seasons always. However, it doesn't clash either.

I really like the bottle, the minimalist design, by Narciso Rodriguez anyway.

Great fragrance, it will have a permanent place in my collection.
