Erhan's notes and keyword descriptions of the fragrance.

TL;DR:
Topnote: synthetic Big Bang
Heart: nice, thin, tangy-sweet, clean, slightly transparent, colourless/transparent cocktail scent
Basis: fabulous, light shaving foam imitation

Fun Fact
"Joop" turned 180 degrees = "stupid"

Runway:
not citric at all; slightly greenish-mossy-musty; fresh; aquatic; woody base; tart-fruity; tart-sweet; non-sticky; masculine-clean (lavender?); pungent rough synthetic fiasco, suggesting spiciness. Almost looks like a thin cocktail/Shot.

In the air:
30-60 minutes later; the synthetic and fruity has diminished and thus the imaginary spiciness says goodbye; still aquatic-fresh with the tart sweetness; amazingly clean in a masculine way (no hand soap or extremely soapy musk.) I'm still guessing lavender, which seems to be there throughout the fragrance); simply structured and harmonious, but doesn't faint; looks pretty light despite its acceptable charisma; do I smell something of an almond note?oha and now suddenly a slight smell of chewing gum, but only for a short time; actually the scent is independent, but still unspectacular; still can't define where this clean, masculine aura comes from; looks a bit later still slightly "boozy"; the flowers mentioned don't smell out either, but could play a big role anyway; Sillage? Something like this between 5 and 6 points; the first two hours well perceptible without it becoming penetrating; afterwards it becomes a bit close to the skin, but radiates constantly for a long time.

Course for the Bermuda Triangle:
3 hours later no longer alcoholic, but still clean, adult, masculine; now a beautiful and light shaving foam note appears more and more and it also becomes a little bit sweeter (Tonka bean?); the aquatic is now also no longer present, although the scent is still slightly fresh; shaving foam + Tonka bean...reminds me a bit of "Portraits - The Tragedy of Lord George" by Penhaligon's; at the latest after 4 hours, this fragrance could convince me a bit; Nightflight has many facets; the fragrance is truly a journey and head-heart-basis could be regarded as different fragrances here, although they are of course closely connected with each other; Nightflight would be something for me if it would smell the same from the beginning as now.

Again 3 hours later, shortly before the Bermuda triangle:

Get off the train for good!
I got to know Creeds Aventus for the first time on the test strip. I was very convinced, but not in love. At some point, I tested him on my skin. After the beautiful fruity top note, it didn't unfold much (in my opinion at that time). At that time I blamed the natural fragrances.

A good Pafumo then of course quickly looks for alternatives and I decided on Haramains L'Aventure. He was different, of course. I wore it sometimes and had to realize that this scent does not suit me and does not fill me. From this point on I only associated the fragrance with suits.

And an even better perfumer occasionally visits a Zara shop. There I discovered the Rich Leather by random selection. "Wow, what a lovely fruity summer scent. Reminds me of something. Oh! I'll take that with me." At home, of course, the tests were carried out. "Hm, very weak and the top note is not permanent. Would be nice if the top note lasted longer."

The best perfume follows every trend and news on this page. "Oops, that Vibrant Leather everybody's talking about, he'll be back now and this time even as O de Parfuuuh". Ordered. Tested. It's getting boring. That top note again that convinces me. And then everything collapses.

And a smart perfumer like me never gives up. He has sold all previous fragrances because he was never satisfied with them. And yet he missed her again and again. So, Afnan's Supremacy Silver is bought at the Souk. "So I buy that now and keep it, Hopefully the test turns out positive."

It took five different fragrances for me to realize that Aventus and I would never become close friends. I got to know Aventus over a year ago. Over time, of course, I have learned a lot from testing. And that finally made it easier for me to understand why I don't like Aventus and Co. and why I'll never buy it again.

With all the scents it was always the case that I liked the top note extraordinarily well. Even with Supremacy. Fresh, little sweet pineapple which is accompanied by smoky woods. With this fragrance there is even an ashy note, which I never noticed with the other four fragrances. The fresh, unvoluminous fruit, together with the woods, has a summery masculine-elegant effect and unfortunately also smells of megalomania/illusionary power. But I could overlook that because of the top note.
Then the inevitable happens. The top note gradually disappears and does not appear in the heart note for too long. After the fruitiness has disappeared, only musty smoky wood with earthy notes remains. From here at the latest, the scent loses its spirit and life (although it didn't have much of it anyway). It smokes in the woods and the earth stinks. No sign of life. No dynamics. No power. No motivation.

What insight have I now gained from this?

I believe that Aventus and Co. is more of a head note seducer and I believe that its success in the market is due to the fact that many people like the head note. I have now finally understood that this fragrance with its deceptive, complacent, lifeless manner will never suit me.
I don't want to blame the lovers with that now. It is as it is: Aventus and Co. are fragrances for me that are "only" in the upper-medium range.

The time is ripe. Now I'm finally getting out. Au revoir!

Plato's Cave Parable - Thank you Eros!
The cave parable, figuratively seen, without a deep, philosophical background, applies exactly to Eros and me:

Erhan lived comfortably in his cave, only knew what the cave offered him. Eros, the god of covetous love, managed to lure Erhan out of his cave. The scent of Eros, marked the way out of the cave and Erhan followed this path. He was unleashed by this scent and set his first foot out into the outside world. There he met Eros and immediately got along with him. Over time, he realized that there were other fragrant personalities. He took his things out of the cave and made his way to discover more. Then Eros asked him: "Why are you leaving me? We lived together for a year." Smiling, he looked at Eros: "I am grateful to you for pulling me out of this cave. You've revealed a whole new world to me. But it's just not gonna work out between us. I've discovered something new on the side. I'm more attracted to." Erhan smelled at the last scent pearls of Eros and was ready for newer discoveries.

-

Yep, what was I excited about this fragrance when I had nothing to do with fragrances and perfumo a year ago.
Thanks to Eros I have a new hobby and have learned a lot here.
Eros was probably the best thing I smelled to me back then. But because of this platform, I have always found better scents and the scent no longer quite impresses me. I guess I just have a problem with fresh smells. I need the harder or finer material (see "I like" etc.).

I don't want to say much about the fragrance, but for completeness:
Starts with a strong mint, which fortunately does not smell of toothpaste or chewing gum. This is paired with delicious apples. The mint leaf remains on the skin for a long time. At least two hours are in it, but of course it gradually fades away after the top note.
Unfortunately I can't smell the tonka bean, but from the heart note on, the cedar notes appear. I suspect that these notes prevent the scent from becoming too sticky-sweet. I definitely don't think Eros is sticky. Rather something between sweet and bitter-sweet. The only thing that seems to bother many people here is the mint leaf, which smells quite synthetic. But this is exactly what makes this fragrance unique. After a few hours, when the mint is gone, there is only a "not provocative" vanilla note on my skin, supported by woody notes. Eros is quite interchangeable from this moment on.

So keep in your mind, that it's the mint. (It shouldn't rhyme!)

A year ago I gave Eros 10 points. I didn't know many scents back then. Today I give him rather 7.5 points, since I now know several scents. Eros introduced me to this world and therefore I calculate the average of 10 and 7,5.
So...where was my calculator? Maybe still in the cave...

Extraterrestrial Prophecy
The world is at the Arsc*. The aliens have known this for a long time and therefore they leave us a message with this scent: The apocalypse is just around the corner. This time December 21, 2021. *BaDum-Tss*

For me and certainly for some others, this fragrance was a hope for 2018. I don't have much experience with Mugler fragrances. Nevertheless, I admire the female alien version: a dominant fragrance with authentic floral notes. Not necessarily the right fragrance for every woman. Nevertheless very unusual and successful, and one of the few women's fragrances that you can recognize immediately.

Since the female alien version impressed me, I had the same expectations of the male version. For almost a year now I've been working with fragrances and have never been so excited about a release like this.

The extraordinary in the male version is missing from front to back. The scent is quite "OK", but miserable for the price. I would not spend more than 10€ for this fragrance.

Alien Man begins at least a little bit interesting: something flowery and spicy seems to be sniffable without the fragrance appearing feminine. A little powderiness is also present at the beginning, along with soft woody-sweet notes. All this already looks a bit "dark" and would be a scent for the cloudy days in the transition periods.

After this prelude, the fragrance also loses the few interesting characteristics it has to offer. It becomes slightly musty and the leather note remains lifeless and dull. In addition, a sweet, liquorice-like scent is added, which also has a very synthetic effect. And that's it. That's it, that's it. Maybe a little harsh shower gel note. That's all that comes after it. Absolutely meaningless.

All this is also very weak on the skin. It lacks intensity and sillage.

Here the potential was not exploited at all. This scent is really the opposite of the original alien (I don't have to explain that in detail). I also can't imagine that Alien Man will somehow sell himself well. A target group doesn't even occur to me. This fragrance does not provide a clear message, except for the one that tells us that we will soon have to bite the dust.

Top note good, everything good?
Since nothing has been written about this fragrance yet, here is a slightly longer statement from me.

The fragrance begins citric-fresh, herbaceous-bitter-sour. The top note smells like the tomato plant or the green stalk of tomatoes. I guess this is the impression I get from the mint, which has been dried out a bit. So this is not a typical, super fresh mint (like the mint note of Bijon - Menthe Froide).

I must mention that I have been looking for a suitable summer scent for a long time. When I smelled Aqva Nvntia for the first time, I was very surprised. The top note with this kind of mint is very special and in a Mediterranean style. I don't know (yet) anything comparable.

After the top note, the dried mint leaves gradually draw into the background. The citrusy herbaceous effect in the top note can still be perceived for about an hour in the heart note, thanks to the "orange blossom + mint leaves" combination.

But once the top note and mint have completely disappeared, the orange blossom remains the main actor in the heart part. Here, soft, sweetish blossoms set the tone. The heart note is not feminine, because jasmine and rose are, in my opinion, hardly noticeable

There are heaps of fragrances with this orange blossom composition, which we all probably know more or less. So after the mint has gone, the fragrance is completely interchangeable.

The base does not save the fragrance either. I was actually curious about this stark contrast: fresh-citric beginning; warm, sweet end. In itself that is beautiful. But with this fragrance, one could have done it much better. Because the base is much too characterless. We've smelled this kind of base often enough: a soft, vanilla end (benzoin) with orange blossom residues. Not bad, but not good either, considering what the top note delivered!

Conclusion:
A top note that exposes your soul to the Mediterranean region, where you are surrounded by orange trees and tomato plants.
A heart note that could bore you.
A base note that could bore you very much.

Shelf life: good 6 hours. Afterwards follow fragrance residues.
Sillage: the first 1-2 hours your bank neighbour can notice you a little bit.

-----------------------------------------------------------
Oh, if that top note lasted for hours, you'd be my summer scent!
Maybe it's absurd to give 7 points for this scent. Heart and base aren't bad, they're one and the same. The top note is what makes this fragrance so special and it convinced me so much that I couldn't bear to give less points. After all, the top note smells better than most of the fragrances I have ever smelled.
