The "blue" lavender and the "blue" cardamom
Al Nashama Caprice is yet another fragrance from Lattafa that has managed to win me over. This "blue" freshness, the very light sweetness, this "blue" lavender, as well as cardamom, yes the whole thing gives me a consistently beautiful fragrance experience.
This fragrance has been compared to La Nuit de L'Homme Bleu Électrique.
Unfortunately, I can't say much more about it because I haven't smelled this fragrance for ages and therefore can't judge it. I only remember that it was a designer that I liked a lot.
The Caprice starts relatively strong.
The fragrance comes across confidently and doesn't hide at all. Especially at the beginning, there is this blue freshness of a little lemon, the classic bergamot and subtly tart ginger. However, cardamom is also present, although it is completely different here than in many other fragrances.
The lavender note listed in the heart note is also there relatively early for me and it is also present. However, the lavender and cardamom are somehow different, as already mentioned. It simply has this "blue" flair throughout.
What is meant by "blue"?
Difficult to explain.
Some people may know certain blue shower gels and they all have a certain charm. I would like to highlight the shower gel with the tart freshness, for example. That's what it was always called, but I don't know if it's still marketed that way.
Well, and this blue character that I also find here in Al Nashama Caprice.
This character envelops the cardamom, as well as the lavender.
So the notes probably have a slightly different effect than usual and I like that.
There is also a certain sweetness that comes across as relatively tame. It goes well with the rest of the fragrance's impressions.
As soon as the fragrance moves towards the end and enters the dry phase, you can increasingly perceive more and more woody impressions.
All in all, a really beautiful fragrance from Lattafa.
