Price/Performance 11/10, the best cheapie on the market for me
Let's not kid ourselves: Neither Prada l'homme intense nor the regular l'homme are ultra-complex compositions, but that makes them, in my opinion, all the more wearable as a no-brainer for a variety of occasions. However, I find it surprising that both have been comparatively rarely copied so far (the l'homme intense, to my knowledge, not at all). Therefore, I was even more pleased to have found a really good alternative in Poseidon God:

Here I find a fruity blueberry top note, and a less dark scent as it develops due to reduced patchouli, which makes Poseidon God a bit brighter than the original l'homme intense. In fact, I see it between l'homme and l'homme intense, but with a much closer relation to the latter. This is precisely what makes Poseidon God all the more appealing to me, as I truly can't think of any occasions or seasons when one couldn't wear this fragrance.

Certainly, the scent has, albeit slightly, less depth than its predecessor(s), but this drawback is negligible compared to the incredible price, and all the listed fragrance notes are also perceivable in high quality. H/S are on par with the Pradas.

The only downside is that the bottle is really not beautiful, and the spray head is mounted so low that it sprays into its own casing every time. Everything is bearable considering that this lost perfume might only cost me a cent.

All of this from a European manufacturer with over 100 years of tradition gives me at least a significantly better feeling when applying it daily than I get from other manufacturers in this price category.

Instituto Español shows what excellent perfume can really cost and almost makes other perfume houses look ridiculous.
