Floral Fruity Oriental at Its Finest
First, I saw the bottle - in the red baroque box. I had to buy it.
At first, I smelled, yes, rhubarb, then flowers, until the woody smoky notes emerged, always slightly vibrating. The scent truly rises, always harmonious. I don't know a similar fragrance - and I really know many! Normally, I prefer heavy orientals and chypres. But this scent is so balanced, characterful, elegant, that I later bought it again. Unfortunately, it is hardly to be found now, overshadowed by meaningless mainstream waters, whose supposed "modernity" culminates in transience and oblivion in the abyss of insignificance.
I wouldn't mind if such works of art didn't disappear from the (German) market so quickly.
