Mixed thoughts
I consider it a mass pleaser - many people notice it in the air and ask what it is. A bit too sweet and artificial/chemical for my taste, yet it's not that bad. But is this one really man-made? I cannot imagine a real person creating this. Also, "no oud" would play better than "cheap oud" in this case.
A crowd pleaser
I'm a fan of Nilafar and Athena. I've bought a decant of this one recently. My friends immediately appreciated the scent - and they never talk when i use Amir One or Jazeel Ghala. That confirmed my thoughts: it's a sweet, woody, mass-pleasing fragrance. It's still classy and bold. Just not my kind of scent. A better, more complex version of SWY or YSL Homme. I kind of expected that, so i'm not disappointed. It will surely end up as a nice gift for one of my friends.
Sweet Fruit Bomb
Opens up with a sweet blast of peach/strawberry/lemon. And that's a candy version of those fruits. It gets a bit flowery/powdery with time. Overall a sweet fruity scent. Smells original to me, but i consider it an ultra feminine fragrance. I can imagine how hard would it be to handle it in small rooms.
Orion's spicy brother
I'm not really into Aventus. And this one isn't as close to Aventus as they say it is. Despite the notes listed, it opens fruity, but with an interesting addition of spiciness. Gets sweeter and sweeter with time and after half an hour it settles as a nice cedar/spicy skin scent with a little bit of moss. I think Orion is much closer to Aventus, and this one is a spicy/woody brother of Orion. In my opinion the most interesting of the three.
Surprisingly good.
This one is really complex. Citrusy, but not quite fresh. A leathery oud which you can smell since the first second. And of course Mate in the very heart of the fragrance. A bit of crushed pine needles makes me think Galbanum, but i can't see it on the list of notes. The first time i used it at 30 Celsius degrees and i missed many accords. Now, in the first days of fall, this is really something. But is it worth the price? No.
