ROSE J - gender-neutral elegance and uniqueness
Once again, Morph and Douglas Morel have managed to create a truly captivating fragrance with “Rose J.”
“Rose J” is a tribute to the gender-neutral elegance and fascination behind uniqueness.
Our perfume opens immediately with a juicy and fresh oriental rose, underscored by molecular notes and a subtle incense. An opening like this, characterized by contrasting ingredients, is something you won't find anywhere else but at Morph!
It is truly fascinating to experience the transformation this scent undergoes after a while.
Now in the heart of the fragrance, the initially juicy and fresh rose transforms into a more classic and warm powdery rose. This is elegantly accompanied by the again unusual combination of subtle incense, resinous-sweet notes, smooth saffron, and a light floral quality reminiscent of violets and similar flowers.
Truly incredible and my favorite part of the fragrance journey!
In the dry-down, I now perceive more woody and subtly sweet notes accompanied by a hint of oud. A wonderful and unique, yet still very classic perfume.
After spending some time with this fragrance and conducting many performance tests, I must say that this scent has a truly pleasant intensity. “Rose J” is for those who want to be noticed in their close surroundings but still seek a good longevity of up to 6-7 hours.
An elegant and timeless perfume that radiates confidence. Genderless and thus for anyone whom this scent enchants.
Super wearable all year round and, due to its moderate longevity, also very seductive on a hot summer evening.
In conclusion, I can only say something about the price, as it truly seems more than reasonable. In terms of value for money, the fragrance is simply superb!
I hope I could spark your interest, as for me, “Rose J” is definitely worth at least a test and one of the most beautiful rose fragrances of all time!
Thank you for your time,
Your Luis

"Antigua Bay" a unique refreshment for summer straight from Italy!
Morph, an Italian brand that stands for innovation, change, and metamorphosis. The fragrances from Morph are, in my experience, always very fascinating and unpredictable, and this scent is no different.
The fragrance starts with a very unusual opening that is almost hard to put into words. Although no citrus notes are listed, there is a magical and subtle citrus (perhaps bergamot?) floating alongside the aquatic and herbal notes. However, the scent is not just fresh; it gains a bit of spice and a touch of saltiness from a very subtle and fitting pepper note!
I immediately think of a pleasant coolness in a lake on a warm summer day. The lake is full of water lilies and overgrown with dense pondweed, and you can feel the wet coolness on your skin. It smells truly mysterious and almost mystical!
Now the warm evening sun dries the wet skin and brings a certain warmth and sweetness into the heart of the initially cool fragrance. Here, "Antigua" feels very invigorating and salty, similar to a sea breeze.
Tonka bean, vanilla notes, and amber, along with woody notes accompanied by musk, increasingly envelop the initial notes and create a beautiful, unique, sweet, and enveloping dry-down.
I perceive eucalyptus and tonka bean most strongly throughout the entire fragrance journey.
The scent lasts really well, and for a rather fresh summer fragrance, the 6-8 hours of longevity on my skin are definitely noticeable! The bottle is typically appealing and high-quality for Morph. A true value-for-money gem that makes you smell truly unique in summer. Perhaps not a compliment monster, but definitely a unique selling point for both men and women!
For me, a standalone fragrance that completely redefines the term "aquatic." 100% worth a test for lovers of unusual scents!

Dark Chaos and Juicy Fruits
The "Night Veils" collection by Byredo features dark fragrances with a high concentration of scent, inspired by the duality of night. After "Vanille Antique," there is finally a new fragrance from this collection. Rouge Chaotique is the first gourmand scent in the "Night Veils" collection, attempting to pair heavy "chaotic" notes with sweet fruity notes. The beauty of the fragrance thus emerges from chaos, so to speak :D
Now, finally, to the scent!
The perfume opens with a wonderful saffron note, which smells as clean and cool as in "Crystal Saffron." Juicy dark fruits immediately join the saffron, accompanied by a hint of fresh bergamot and a very subtle leather accord. The opening is very unique and I totally love it! In the heart of the fragrance, it becomes truly seductive! A sweet and delicious praline note, accompanied by delicate plum, creates an incredible spectacle. It's rare to encounter something so seductively delicious that still smells sophisticated and unique. In the dry-down, the initially barely noticeable oud note becomes a bit stronger, but definitely not to the point of being inappropriate. It’s a super interesting addition to the scent profile and mega intriguing! Finally, papyrus and patchouli notes come in, rounding off the fragrance into a rather earthy dry-down.
For me, this scent is truly something completely new that I haven't smelled in this composition anywhere else. Beautifully executed, and the quality and longevity, as usual from the Night Veils collection, leave nothing to be desired.
The fragrance is also very unisex and wearable by everyone! I would recommend wearing it more in the evenings or during the colder months, as it is quite heavy and strong. For me, it's definitely a scent that you MUST really try!
Thank you for your time, feel free to let me know how you perceive the fragrance and enjoy the experience!
See you soon,
Your Luis :)

Airy-smooth lilac, wrapped in white chocolate.
I had the opportunity to smell this fragrance for the first time at the Esxence fair in Milan and found it really interesting there. Now, a few months later, the fragrance is here and I have been able to test it intensively.
The scent starts with a strongly balsamic note, a truly beautiful delicate and fresh lilac. This lilac is accompanied by a seductively sweet and unusual tonka bean, which smells quite different here than in "Tonka Bodykon 31." After a few minutes, creamy white chocolate joins in and beautifully rounds everything off. It is indeed a rather sensual and smooth scent experience!
L´Air et L´Eros... The air and love. Unfortunately, I must say that this fragrance is quite weak and the term air fits it well. It is truly a scent for minimalists who are looking for a very subtle and skin-close fragrance. On my skin, I perceive the scent for a maximum of 4 hours, which I personally find very disappointing. However, for those who appreciate this, "L´air et l´eros" is really a very beautiful, enveloping, loving, and simple fragrance. Tastes are known to differ, so to each their own and have fun testing!
Feel free to share your opinion with me, and maybe this fragrance will resonate with you. :D

Not so "perverse" after all?
Anyone who is a fan of Nasomatto has surely been looking forward to this fragrance. After the numerous promotional videos on Instagram and the like, I personally could hardly wait! I was excited for a controversial and "perverse" scent that should be more art than a perfume.
However, when I tested the fragrance for the first time, I was both disappointed and surprised. "Sadonaso" is absolutely not what one would expect from the advertising, but still incredibly good!
Upon spraying, a very strong sweet (syrupy) honey cloud immediately greets you in the top notes, accompanied by smoky resin and a strong powderiness. The scent initially smells almost sticky! Now, subtle leather notes join in, making the slight animalic/urine-like notes hardly noticeable. I also perceive a certain "rubbery" synthetic quality, which, however, does not bother me at all in this fragrance.
A real jumble of many scent notes!
Nevertheless, I really like the fragrance from the very beginning. I think the advertising implanted the idea of a seductive and sensual scent in my mind, and I can't shake it off! I find the fragrance simply smells of pure eroticism and fun. The scent smells forbidden but is still too good not to wear!
Over time, it becomes increasingly powdery and simpler on my skin. The scent notes align, leaving a sweet, powdery, smoky, seductive fragrance that even comes across as quite serious.
With Sadonaso on my skin, I get an impressive performance of 11-12 hours, which, as always with Nasomatto, convinces me greatly. The fragrance radiates relatively strongly but is still very pleasant to wear.
In conclusion, I can only say that this fragrance is somehow something completely different from what the advertising suggests, but I still like it very much! I think Alessandro Gualtieri wanted to show what kind of impact visual impressions can have. I suspect that without any background knowledge of the campaign, this fragrance simply smells like a beautiful sweet-powdery scent! Only through the visual connections does this fragrance become what it is. Very interesting! Equally wearable and seductive for all genders and especially great for going out or for romantic evenings!
I definitely recommend trying it!
Feel free to share your thoughts on the fragrance with me, and thank you for your time!
