Chemical accident, or childhood with old plastic utensils and green fouling remover
So beautiful I had imagined my second date with Miguel, after he had turned my head with '"Summer Oud". This time I wanted to experience something "aquatic" with him - well, Miguel showed his true colors on the second "blind date" - and I did not like it....To be honest, it was downright disturbing.
When I joyfully entered Mr. Mato's "swimming pool", an olfactory hell opened up for me. I was sure this must be a pool from a horror splatter. Nothing, but nothing at all, was to be found here of summer swimming pool whimsy with a slight chlorine note and sunscreen-grass-ice cream scent mingle. Instead, a smell of nasty 70's plastic ware with plasticizers hits me in the face that had been stored in the Speis for the winter in the old plastic cooler bag, and had now been sitting in the blazing sun for 3 hours until you unzipped the cooler bag. The whole thing is still devilishly underlined by a smell, which arose when my grandfather treated the old concrete terrace plates with green coating remover, and the resulting water-chemical steam wafted in the blazing sun on the hot plates through the garden...Besides, I still smell at my children's paddling pool - of course also good old plastic with its characteristic smell. In short, no, this scent has nothing, but nothing, nice about it for me. This is bad chemical smell for me.
The silage and the durability indes are excellent. Unfortunately....

I can't think of a good occasion who would want to wear this smell and when - but I'm sure some might actually like it from an experimental point of view.

This was, unfortunately, a blind date without a happy ending - and I will be wary of Miguel in the future.

Naturalness without vanity
"The meadow turned green..
and around the hedges I saw it blossom.
Every day I saw new herbs,
Mild was the air, the sky serene:
I didn't know what happened to me,
and how that became what I saw!"

The Daughter of Botany - an apt name for a perfume that is rather a fragrance. Truly the scent of nature. Herbaceous, spicy, floral, serene. Beautiful but not gussied up. Beautiful in a natural, pristine, fun-loving way.
I wear the scent because it's soothing. Soothing to the senses because it is simply pristine. Without frippery. The lavender is given in all sorts of forms, the lime contributes the floral summer breeze. Myrrh, cardamom and ambrette give the heart of the fragrance its spiciness.
It is a calm, peaceful fragrance - with tremendous power. It opens strong, and is slow to wear off. Its longevity is more than 8 hours on me. And it can be perceived even by the closer environment of the wearer.
Botany's Daughter is unisex and suitable for me from spring to autumn.

A clear, exceptional fragrance, from a house with equally clear and exceptional line.

It's Summer in the City....
Spontaneous song association when wearing this scent:

I run naked through an English garden
Sit high on the Monopteros
I think my boss has to do without me
Yes, I love lying in the grass with you

It's summer again
It's summer again
It's summer again
Summer in the city

(Spider Murphy Gang)

And exactly such a feeling gives this fragrance, which I just had to order blindly, because the fragrance pyramid reads so delightfully and crazy. The squaring of the circle has succeeded Mr. Matos with this fragrance: Oud & Summer. And the fragrance is indeed gorgeous and crazy, and you want to alternately dancing through the Leopoldstraße or lie around in the grass in the English Garden.

The fragrance opens with a concentrated load of cypriol, opoponax and oud. Pretty intense, and I wondered for 40 seconds if it will still be summer here.... It will! The aromatic threesome is joined pretty quickly by a multivitamin marmalade, with pineapple, banana and coconut cavorting around - nothing sticky-sweet but fruity-fresh. It blends amazingly well with the oud, making it light, fruity and yes, kind of "high". The oud retreats a bit after about 45 minutes, not much, but just enough so that the fruity components come more to the fore, and are carried by the oud. The scent then stays that way for a few hours, fading away more and more gently after a long 8 - 9 hours. On clothes it lasts much longer.
I feel the fragrance is unisex, and in its mood excellent for all sunny days above 20 degrees. Silage is very nice, not too loud but by no means too quiet.

A fragrance to dance, be happy, in an upbeat summer mood - I find it incredibly successful.

Of the rain that flies over the land
Dark purple violet meadows, earthy, in the light undergrowth. The heavy rain shower just passed over it. A few last single drops still in the air, but the sun is already poking through the clouds. Heating up strong and fast, and forcing the next thundershower. Steam rises quickly from the sodden earth, enriched with the strong spice of violets. Next door, a lushly blooming ground cover rose goes wild, rain dripping its sweet scent to the strong sun. All this plays out, in constant hourly alternation, between thundershower and hot sun, on this thundery midsummer day.

Rainbird is my second Teone Reinthal fragrance. This one is also captivating in its absolute naturalness. Here the main focus is on heavy violet, rain-soaked earth, and sweet rose. Sandalwood is not consciously noticeable to me, but probably gently embeds the components, and make it round. The scent is again very strong and incredibly long lasting for a natural perfume. It's unisex, and wearable in all seasons in my opinion. Again, these are idiosyncratic creations that have nothing in common even with the often encountered "mainstream smelling" in my eyes. This is an absolutely natural fragrance - beautiful, strong and extraordinary, without any craving for vanity.

From ultraviolet to grass green
Antarctica it is. It must have been long before our time, when Antarctica was green. It must have been a sea of deep blue lavender with silvery herbage. And endless expanses of herbaceous meadows that the inhabitants turned into spicy hay. All these tangy, spicy scents fly over this continent, with its harsh yet mild climate. There was no industrialization here - it was all wild, powerful, green, nature, in its pure beauty. It was long before our time...

Teone Reinthal is one of my favorite discoveries. These natural perfumes from Australia deliver what they promise. It is nature as an elixir to wear. Antarctica is a fougére scent for me. The lavender is very present - kind of like wiping fresh lavender off your hands in the early morning and then smelling it on your hands. At the same time, the scent of freshly mown meadow wafts in, while in the meadow next door, the hay is already bundled in strands enjoying the last day of sun until it's time to go in. All that is caught in this fragrance - in addition, the inkling of a rough basic climate me indeed mild summers, but without heat.
The durability is outstanding - this natural perfume lasts virtually until the shower. The silage is neat - it takes some courage to wear such a present, tart natural fragrance, which has corners and edges, and definitely does not become cuddly-cuddly. It is special and powerful - I appreciate this fragrance very much and like to wear it.
In my opinion, it is unisex and can be used all year round.
