No apology necessary, Contureguru. I agree with you regarding the sometimes heavy handed use of patchouli. It is a useful ingredient but can be overdone at times. Thanks for you positive feedback.

I posted this on your blog too but it's worth re-iterating. For me the 'buzz word' for the use of Patchouli in any fragrance is "carefully" as it has the power to really dominate!! I love it in frags like Lauder's Private Collection, Aramis Devin and also 900 where it is present, but not overwhelming. The House of Lush seems to use dominant Patchouli in their frags ... a bit of a deal breaker for me :) ... Stunning blog Flaconneur ( please forgive me for mis-spelling your nic on occasion!) ...
