What a noble, extravagant composition. What a variety of tones and nuances. The interplay of top and heart notes is the wonderful, lively and yet gentle overture, bright but also with warm, dark nuances.

The overture to a long, wonderful sonata. At the beginning, trombones and timpani accompany the strings, every now and then the clarinet throws in a few bright notes until the sonata fills the entire room and only the strings play the dreamy melody.

This melody resonates with me for a very, very long time, even the next morning there is still a violin there playing the same melody.

These are pretty much my feelings after Ghislaine gave me the opportunity to adopt this amazing fragrance. Thank you very much again for this, dear Ghislaine.
I'm constantly sniffing the crook of my arm, where I sprayed it yesterday, and where today there's still a very delicate scent of cinnamon.

I love the smell of cinnamon and have a wonderful recipe for a cinnamon sorbet that I make every Christmas and that BRONZE reminds me of in places.

A brilliant blind decision on my part, I'm very proud of myself.

Just like Oscar Celebration at the start - bittersweet; Above all, bergamot and coriander determine the top notes of this "Gel de Parfum", and they are extremely strong and extremely long.

I have to be patient (the Aries middle name LOL) to enjoy the creamy, soft heart note of OC, which is now very reminiscent of Oscar. After all, Oscar was once one of my perfumes. In my opinion, the main role is played by ylang-ylang, creamy, soft and cozy, it literally melts into the skin.

The combination of scent building blocks in the base - I'm sure not all of them are listed - is slightly woody and more smoky than powdery, but also animalistic, with amber playing a minor role.

The strong similarity to the wonderful "Charles of the Ritz" cannot be denied, although that scent is softer and more gourmand than OC.

Oscar Celebration is a perfume to celebrate: Open the packaging, remove the glass bottle with a glass stopper, which is covered with plastic to insert into the bottle, tilt the bottle slightly and apply the gel with the stopper. The top note unfolds immediately, revealing here and there what awaits the wearer: a wonderful, very feminine scent for very special moments in life.

As soon as I held the bottle in my hand and sniffed it, the gem reminded me of fairies, flowers, butterflies, and a beautiful, enchanted garden.

The cap of the bottle has a large, purple Swarovski stone in the middle. Unfortunately, I was only able to find out very little about the perfumer, but I did find sources for the fragrance. It is a special rarity and is only sold in a single perfumery in Germany.

Olfactorily, the scent belongs to the floral scent family. The opening is fresh and somewhat soapy, as if you had just unpacked a very expensive floral soap. But that only lasts seconds.

Then flowers appear. Due to the lack of a pyramid - unfortunately I couldn't find it either - I can only give my impression. I notice jasmine, violets and roses here. There are also violet leaves, which give the whole thing a green touch. The scent is by no means sweet, at any time, although there is a certain natural sweetness of the flowers.

In the dry down, a slight soapiness appears again along with the floral bouquet, which remains. I really like this and enjoy the freshness it gives the scent. The projection is quite good, I feel enveloped in a nice bright floral cloud.

In the end it becomes slightly woody - sandalwood or rosewood. Since I currently only own the EdT, I have to complain about the durability. However, this might be better with the EdP.

It seems as if there are only four Lorenzo de Medici fragrances in total: Caterina, Les Jardins de Caterina, Lorenzo Classic and Lorenzo Firenze - two women's and two men's fragrances.

A coincidence helped me to get this noble piece and I am very happy about it. Let's see what my husband says when he has the Lorenzo Classic in the bathroom soon...

Addendum: I have to revise my claim regarding durability. I no longer noticed anything on my wrist, but since I had also sprayed my décolleté - I still smelled of Jardin late last night, but I no longer noticed it myself. My husband does. Lovely, a wonderful scent and it still lasts, because my husband said: "You smell great, is this your new perfume?" Yep, that was it!

Moon water - because that's what Agua de Luna means - is a wonderful splash. Aquatic, marine, fresh and fragrant, very slightly soapy. It gives you the feeling of being clean and constantly smelling like you've just showered. The scents themselves don't really last long, but the refreshment remains. It's really just a splash - the Spanish love and use them all. For me that was one of the beautiful and pleasant aspects, you walked past an old man on the street and he smelled like he had just taken a shower, even if he had been on his feet for at least 5 hours.
Such a “Colonia” cannot be compared with the cologne water we commonly know. These colonias are significantly lighter, livelier, more Mediterranean. If you don't like using fragrance, then such a freshness kick is just right. And you can use them very generously because they are available in bottles from 200 ml and up and really only cost a few euros. Just try it, it's a great feeling.

From what I read here, I hardly dared to hope that I would ever be able to own this treasure. I'm constantly looking for the scents that I would like to have, so I search the internet "up and down" and found what I was looking for yesterday. Many thanks to you, dear Fiona, for the test, it was the final deciding factor that made me take it.

I didn't want to believe it, but it actually starts with a sweet, drinkable apple cider.

But after just 15 minutes the rose takes over. And what a rose. Velvet red, strong and large-flowered with an intoxicating scent. I love scents like this and they just make me feel comfortable and happy. It doesn't bother me at all that the scent doesn't show any major facets, but is limited to this magnificent rose and, at the beginning, these sweet apples. The rose is not sweet, not heavy, but very ladylike and elegant.

The base appears very slightly dry due to the amber, but very pleasant and is wonderfully coordinated with the rose at the end of Ce Soir ou Jamais.

I am very happy that I was able to add this beautiful bottle to my collection. It is made of satin glass so that you can clearly see the perfume inside and is a great addition to mycollection.
