2. at the casting is not necessarily the worst thing
From a certain popularity appear from stars and starlets fragrances under their name. This brings even more popularity, but also more money.

David Bisbal, today probably the best known, most popular singer in Spain, is known far beyond Spain's borders to the United States and, of course, Latin America. In 2001, as a 22-year-old, he won 2nd place in the Spanish casting show and literally made the very best of it. His music is very popular and catchy, he has sung various film scores, among others, and his concerts are always sold out after a very short time.
Today he is 44 and has achieved almost everything.

So it was then somehow obvious to underline the popularity, to consolidate. And since 2006, a few fragrances under the name of David Bisbal came on the market. The first fragrance "Pura Essencia" 2006 each in masculine and feminine variant, 2008 "DB Black Man" and "DB Rose Woman" - so also in both variants, 2010 Sin Mirar Atrás (Without looking back) exclusively as a masculine fragrance and finally 2017 "davidbisbal Man" and "davidbisbal Woman".

The latter is the subject of my fragrance review. A round cardboard box with metal lid and base, of course, with David Bisbal's likeness - owed to the name of the fragrances. Inside a white coated glass bottle with the inscription davidbisbal Woman Eau de Toilette. He bottle is quite large and holds 150ml EdT.

The fragrance itself is sweet, clearly I can perceive the fruity plum note and the subtle saffron note in the prelude. The powderiness of the iris, however, sets in only later, then, as beautiful fine floral notes dazugesellen and the sweetness - which is at the beginning for my taste but extreme - fortunately decreases. Jasmine and rose are mentioned, but it could also be other flowers.

The durability is really good, the projection only at the beginning a bit loud, then quite close to the body. In the further course is very slightly perceptible an animalic note, which is very restrained and pleasant, however, by supporting the floral effect.

I must admit, my first attempt at this fragrance was not so enjoyable and I washed it off right after spraying it on, because it was too sweet for me. But as I said, the sweetness is reduced in the course to a minimum and the fragrance is then very creamy, soft, very close to the skin and pleasant.

I myself will probably rather not wear it, I no longer have the necessary youthful age. Nevertheless, I must admit to him that the buyer here gets more than expected for her money.

I love David Bisbal and his music very much, can sing along with many of his songs and I wish him many more years of success and a healthy life full of love and happiness.

People do not change, times change
In times like these, it is not easy to describe a fragrance that already has a good 20 years on the hump. And no, it no longer exists, at most by chance from private hands in Spain.

We are talking about Victorio & Lucchino, two avant-garde fashion designers from Seville, Andalusia, who in early 2000 also began to bring fragrances under their brand V & L on the market, like many other fashion designers before them.

V & L Hombre and V & L Mujer were the first creations of the duo and they still say today, it was their best. I would like to disagree because the "Hombre" in the dark blue bottle is my absolute V & L winner, which, however, there is (unfortunately) also no longer. Meanwhile, PUIG has taken over the brand and its marketing, as well as the creation of the fragrances. Regrettably, according to the motto the more the better (also here objection !)

But to the V & L Mujer, a fragrance as I would like to call him typically Spanish, at least the fragrances concerning which come from Andalusia. It is the southernmost region of Spain and also the hottest, despite proximity to the sea. Fragrances from Andalusia are light, fresh, well lasting but with rather body projection. Just due to the heat pleasant.

V & L Mujer starts with a herbaceous prelude, fresh and very green-herbaceous, lavender and something like lovage I suspect. This impression lasts so in about 20 minutes.

Then comes the fine fresh floral note with soft wood in the background to the fore and from then on V & L Mujer no longer changes. However, I can perceive neither gardenia nor garden carnation - both known to be quite fragrance strong. The flowers incorporated here are of a delicacy and lightness as I like them very much in fragrances.

The projection is and remains close to the body, but the scent holds and holds. Good 8 hours I can perceive him, on my hair even a lot longer.

The bottle is made of solid glass with various "dents", which makes it really very good in the hand.

V & L Mujer is in any case an interesting fragrance of the otherwise in Andalusia offered fresh fragrances clearly dances out of the series. The symbiosis of flowers and wood is soft and fine and so perfect that I puzzle which flowers were processed here. If it is indeed geranium and carnation, then they were processed with the highest perfumers art to this fragrance.

Scents like this...
In his little heart bottle with tiered skirt chichi looks quite innocent. I have tried several times to get on the track of his secret - and have found, there is no secret at all. This little heart actually just wants to flatter, ensnare, seduce.

The course is linear, from the prelude to the conclusion. The projection very, very close to the skin and the shelf life relatively short.

So no seduction, just a flirtation? Not quite, because the fragrance is so beautiful that even the relatively short shelf life does not bother. And woman could reapply it from dance to dance and seduce again.

It is sweet, but not intrusive. Spicy in the direction of vanilla, cinnamon and Co. with a clear portion of amber. I can not help but constantly hold my nose to the wrist to smell the fragrance again and again.

It reminds me in the broadest sense of Emeraude, but without its woodiness and extremely long shelf life. Also in the Projetion Emeraude is clearly stronger.

In contrast to today's popular sweet creations, nothing is pungent in chichi, nothing intrusive, but everything is creamy soft and harmonious. chichi is a fragrance for's good mood make. I just enjoy it over and over again.

The magic root
The new ID Parfum bottles are simply beautiful. Clear and straightforward with emphasis on the content, not on the - sometimes previously quite tasteless - flacon. I really like it when all the fragrances of a perfumer are in the same bottle. It clearly enhances the fragrance.

Iris Flora waits with a fruity opening note, reminds me of currants with a certain sweetness sugared. This impression lasts for quite a while until the sweetness disappears completely and very slowly the powderiness asserts itself.

Considering that from the iris the refined, dry root is used, I can only marvel at this beautiful fragrance accompaniment to the iris Flora. The iris root, which is always accompanied by powderiness, supports the other fragrance notes, but floral notes I am not able to perceive, they are covered by the now very restrained currant note - here rather the fruit than the flower.

As already Magnolia Alba so Iris Flora is very close to the skin with limited shelf life. The powdery lightness of being. The fragrances run under the series Parfumeur Voyageur and are all worth their - really moderate - price.

Elated magnolia
After I wrote a short statement, so now a more detailed analysis. ID Parfums/Isabel Derroisné stood for me always for too sweet, presentation in - for my taste - tasteless bottles (mostly anyway) and simply and not my case.

Quite different the fragrances of this series. They are mainstream, so broadly usable, but that does not mean that they are not beautiful.

Already the bottle is really beautiful, clearly enhances the fragrance and is good in the hand. Clear and without any frills. Finally, the eye (nose) notice is on the content and not on the bottle. The outer carton shows imprinted the flower standing behind the fragrance. The whole thing is really very tasteful and appealing design. The label is also the same for all fragrances, but different in color. Printing in metallic colors.

The fragrance Magnolia Alba is rather green-fresh in the prelude, but quickly becomes sweetish, but not intrusive. Whether the floral note comes close to a fragrance magnolia - I'm not quite sure, it could be any flower that smells, apart from roses. The sweetish note disappears after some time again and leaves the field to a very delicate and skin dry floral scent.

The durability is not excessive but okay, the projection - as I said - rather close to the skin.

Magnolia Alba is really a fragrance for young and old, a fragrance for many occasions, well daily also in working life - if allowed - wearable. A really nice ID Parfums fragrance, the purchase of which was worthwhile.

Unfortunately, the fragrance is only available through Pierre Ricaud and is currently unavailable. I hope that ID Parfums does not discontinue him again as quickly as otherwise their fragrances.
