Flowers for Men - Lilac after a Shower
The scent strongly reminds me of the lilac stuff from the Flowers for Men series.
No wonder, as this fragrance also revolves around lilac and hyacinth (and other flowers).

However, the scent has received a strong shower. The comfortable soft (slightly sticky) cushion has been washed away, and an aquatic note remains around the flowers.

This does not necessarily help to reduce the artificiality of the lilac scent (since lilac fragrance can only be obtained synthetically); on the contrary.

The Aegean in the Midday Sun
The sky is blue, the sun is blazing, Neil is lying on the deck of his boat and napping.

A light, very light breeze, just enough to provide no cooling, brings faint hints of citrus and citrus blossoms on deck.

The rest of the fragrance conveys a sunny, somewhat sticky warmth.

A storm is brewing...
From the breeze that brushes through the laundry, a full-blown storm has developed.
Lightning flashes. One strikes a high-voltage line.
It smells somewhat metallic,

and the scent begins. With a metallic, slightly charred note.
I stood right next to it and would rather quickly hide in a flower hedge.

What a mess... these are plastic flowers.

Flower on Pillow
The three Flowers for Men fragrances all have one thing in common. The base.
Okay, okay, they share two characteristics. The base and the fact that flowers are the focus.

The central flower, in this case, lilac.
Lilac usually smells somewhat hm... white (?)... yes, somewhat white.
But this lilac is nestled in a cozy woody balsamic pillow. One doesn’t even want to get up from the sofa.
The scent makes me feel somewhat sluggish.

But I do get up and run to the bathroom to wash off this sticky floral soup. Lilac is just too intense for me.

Hooray hooray the forest is burning...
A slightly burnt breeze wafts towards me from the sample.

What’s burning there? Probably a forest full of lemon trees.

Good old Neil must have grown tired of the Aegean and has come ashore. Only to end up in a forest fire.

But he doesn’t let it bother him and toasts marshmallows at the burning lemon tree.
In the end, he clumsily covers up the smell of smoke with a vanilla-scented candle.

This mix will linger in his clothes for a long time...
